Idk why people think they gotta take off the entire cowl and Wiper arms to do this. Basic ratchet wrench and a little finesse gets it done. Glad to see you show them its not needed.
This is far more informative than some of the other guides. Also He's got a cool accent
Thanks. Happy the video helped.
@@AJIMPORTS No problem man. I also found it helpful that you always called the nuts by their sizes, so it was very easy to remember. It saves a lot of time if you know the sizes beforehand.
Good tutorial! Thank you for taking it step by step.
No problem thanks for watching.
Thanks for the step by step !!! Saved me a whole lot of $$
Happy it helped. I have videos on 07 accords too lol.
It’s a good idea to use a torque wrench when tightening up the bolts.
Hey bud, thank you very much! A very informative video that will save my at lot of $$$!! Thank you!!!
How likely the CV axle may come out? Should I worry about it? Thanks for the video.👍
Not likely unless the cup break. But if the axle bad change it
@@AJIMPORTS Thanks for your information.
Thank You AJ!
You don't really need to grease the top mounts their sealed bearings ! How were the mnroe struts in the winter were they stiff ? I have to change mine to KYB
Never had any issues with the Monroe struts.
Yeah, don't need to grease the strut mounts. You're just going to collect more dirt and create a stronger chance of it failing prematurely.
What name brand did you used for the front I got a 2011. Corolla
Believe they were Monroe full assembly
How have the struts held up? I have the same vehicle and my struts are starting to go and I’m trying to decide which to get.
I always use this brand. Soft ride and not much issues.
The two strut bolts in the middle on my car are really stuck. Any tips or advice?
use heat. or just cut off the bolts. the mount comes with new bolts.
@@AJIMPORTS Sounds good, will try it!
How many miles did your car have when you replaced them?
The car had about 120k.
@@AJIMPORTS Mine has 92k right now.... and the dealer wants to touch it... 😑
@@raykupal well better get some tools and get to work lol.
I took everything off and got the new one in but there’s no play it won’t spin as your did and it’s sits kinda slanted.
What will not spin. The strut mount?. If it slanted something might be wrong or not aligned correctly
Did you torque those main nuts to the specs?
It's PFT torqued... pretty f#$& tight!
How much for that whole assembly?
I think each was 90 on rock auto. So about 400 for all 4.
What size hex socket is that, for the sway bar link?
I do not recall what the size was.
So when are you going to go hard and change a seat in a c300(cough, cough) j/k
Did not know any c300 needed work.
