i think they should do a UA up here in Canada where you can go rock crawling, Dune racing, and mud bogging all in 5 days and take dirt road the whole trip.
So you took them to a tank place where they couldn't drive, picked two of them out if the group to drive a tank and made the rest watch as they crushed a jeep. Whose idea was that?!?
+Milsparro i am really happy I had my new full convertible top and doors for this trip! While it wasn't completely waterproof it sure made it more pleasant inside! Last year on the way home, somewhere in Kansas, we got stuck in a storm that was so bad I could see anything. Water was going everywhere.....front of the windshield, back of the windshield, inside by goggles, down the back of my pants....it sucked. This year I came with a custom soft convertible top and doors that I made to keep the spray from the tires off the 'back' of the windshield and mostly off us. That was the best $50 I ever spent on the old flat fender for these trips!
Instead of crushing the Cherokee they could have used the stupid Prius from the commercial at the beginning of each video and then they would finally have a real use.
I enjoyed the Videos, Rick did an awesome job! I think he got the right group together because everybody just pushed harder when the rain came and didn't complain. I thought the expensive rigs were cool but liked the Sidekick and older chevy trucks and Sammy the best because a guy could build something like that in his Garage for a few bucks and they seemed to get through everything just fine.
10:10 yeah, that looks like the air intake above the wheel like in the second generation explorers. I'm suprised he didn't suck in any mud or water during this trip. I have the stock plastic wheel wells in to prevent sucking in water thrown by my wheels. That and my '95 explorer is mostly civilian use. A snorkel doesn't cost that much to make and/or install.
love this series each year. couple of questions, what happened to Freds rig in half the episodes was a no show and why don't you do it at a less rainy time of the year
I think Pewe was a little surprised him self at crushing a good xj body, lese and less Cherokees around I bought one wreaked brought it to life used it hard rebuilt it a couple of times long story short but in the end I killed it and the motor that I hydrolocked 3 times lived on passed 200 thou in some kids Cherokee...
+Robert F, it depends on how steep of an angle you're at. Some people will gas on if they still have tires hooking. I've seen video's of Rock Bouncers running upside down for a good 30 seconds and they didn't suffer any noticeable engine damage. But it doesn't hurt to play it safe and shut it down immediately if you're concerned about causing damage.
lol, anyone notice that Rick bent the living hell out of his tie rod on that "notch"? 12:20, straight tie rod, 12:24, bent as hell! Good job Rick, wouldn't be a proper host if you didn't wheel it hard and bust a borrowed rig! (not being sarcastic)
Thanks again for sharing this awesome series! I'm a little bit sad that it's over but here's to next year.
Rick is such a great host. He should replace that guy next year on Top Truck Challenge.
+Shayne Wolfe Or have Fred Williams do TTC
+Shayne Wolfe Apparently Rick actually won the very first Top Truck Challenge.
+Shayne Wolfe -TTC has been canceled or highly modified from what it used to be. It wont even be in the same location if they have it at all.
+Shayne Wolfe Holy Diver! thats a bold statement haha I completely agree
Rick seems like a great guy. The whole Finnegan, Frieburger, and Fred deal is a win. Angelo puts on a great show as well.
Top Truck Challenge should be run just like this!! With either Rick or Fred hosting. Great job guys!
sometimes i really like the 4x4 community. Everyone chips in to help one another out, despite the rivalry
Can you explain said rivalry? Think back, 7 years, and describe your feelings
So your challenge for cheap truck challenge is to take that xj and make it mud worthy again!
"I'm a little disappointed, I didn't hear a rev limiter once." My new quote for evrythin
But you still drive in an automatic transmission 😜
i think they should do a UA up here in Canada where you can go rock crawling, Dune racing, and mud bogging all in 5 days and take dirt road the whole trip.
They beat theses trucks real hard.
love the series,
Thanks for sharing.
All of the xj guys just shed a tear
Well it's pretty evident that Falken was a major sponsor. Would have liked to have seen some of these guys running TSL's.
Boggers. Fred may have made it up that winchfest hill, if he were running Boggers!
Not the XJ! :( I'm pretty sure that is a hate crime
This comment was possible by falken tires my fingers hooked great to the screen man falken tires
Great job MT. Much improved over last year's production.

"I didn't hear the rev limiter once" hahashdfh
Looks cool again.
I'm gonna make my new Rc truck a special UA edition
+Biem Leichel That would be cool!
Followed all the parts, beautiful job. Kick ass stuff! ROCK on!
The most amazing thing about Tim Hardy's Samurai is that it uses a stock engine. Its so cool that he can do so much with only 63 hp.
Thanks for posting all of it. Looks like it was a great time.
Really nice adventure ride! Always enjoy watching your trips.
I really enjoyed this series, can't wait for next year!
So much fun. This is why these guys live long.
I wonder how many people are building fully waterproof cabs for next year!

Why you smashed the Cherokee? 😭
Anyway looked like a nice trip except all the smashing crashing and craking, that hurts a bit.
Me having a Black 99 Jeep Cherokee kind of made me sad to see that one crushed
Fred and Cooper make these worth watching
Tom Hardy and his Samurai are epic, I love his truck.
Brilliant guys !! loved it to watch all but would prefer to drive some day... 😃
poor XJ... that killed me to watch
I watched the whole thing and loved it it that bell got on my nerves. I'm glad you'll had a good time a know one got hurt.
I bloody love these videos.

That was great guys can't wait to watch next year. wish i could join ya.

R.I.P XJ. The whole group looks like people that could show up on dateline but the only crime was the death of the XJ.
Note to self.... Dont let any tanks near my XJ.
Love it! way to go! can't wait to get my rig built
Do they cut out when Fred fails, or does he just always ace everything?
This is just plain awesome !
Man great Ride guys, that was really enjoyable.
Nice coverage of the event!
i love so much the white sidekick
The cowbell's back lol. But honestly this year's UA left little to be desired. Hopefully next year's will be less weather an more wheel'n.
the ultimate warn commercial, 2015
+13Dixiefried Weather separates the cars from the trucks. Only the most versatile trucks make it in those conditions.
great job guys cant wait till next year
i really like the pink sun glasses of that dude
Way better than Top Truck Challenge
on my bucket list soon as I get to walking again after relapse from my ms be awesome to do pee wee is awesome have to do it in my flat fender
Poor XJ.
Great footage of trails and stuff BUT you should have shown the Banquit too!
16:00 whoever came up with the idea of the edit - You da man!
I live seriously 1 mile from tank town usa! I didnt know you guys were in town!
i helped build the RV park directly behind tank town USA
We actually had a small four wheeling trail behind there for a few years
4:14 that's the guy with the cowbell, now we all know who we hate
So centipedes enjoy rock crawling too?
Learn something everyday on dirt everyday
+ahmed shamsi this isn't dirt every day
Did you have to destroy the Cherokee? :(
IKR! I love Cherokees!
25Celtics DINKELBURG

Whats the right way to say thank you and be safe to offroaders ?
When you flip over on your side should you kill the engine immediately?

"Another UA in the books", I've said that one before.
I'd love too ride my bike down those rockgardens..
Lol did they take a seat from the bed of a Subaru brat and mount it on top of the tank?
