Today we are talking my thoughts on Star Wars the Acolyte's Episode 5. After watching the episode, Qimir more and more seems like Asajj Ventress in the aspect knowing both the force and witch magic.

The Qimir and Sol conversation was about the shop encounter, no more, no less. Qimir wasn't at Brendock, otherwise he would not have been so surprised at Osha looking like Mae, the dude had never met her before. He knows Sol can read minds because Force Users can do that to a limited capacity. But more than likely that was a jab at him reading Mae's during the fight. I'm sure Mae had a gripe or two about that on the way to Khofar, and Qimir likely wasn't pleased that Sol tried to pull Qimir's identity from her using that trick. The "You tell me?" line is about Sol not being honest, and that info again likely came from Mae...they had a deal and the reasons were discussed.
Qimir's master is not Koril, Ms. witchy helicopter mom wouldn't put her child in that position, it's ridiculous. She's not a Sith Lord, she's a witch. She still "might" show up later on in the series and not in a flashback, but don't count on her being his master, she isn't.
Also Koril if she's alive, wouldn't be in hiding from Mae, or Osha, she would have revealed herself to her daughters. Vader tried revealing himself to Luke the moment after he figured out Luke was his son, and tried reasoning with him, in his own twisted way, on Bespin, and failed.
And lastly, Qimir is not an Assaj stand in. He's a Sith Lord, that info is from the showrunners, and Manny himself. It is what it is, theres a second Sith running around as well, we haven't been introduced to. More then likely this Sith is also a Sith Lord, and likely Qimir's master. My money is his master is Tenebrous, who's heavily linked to Cortosis, he even died in a Cortosis mine at the hand of Plagueis in Legends.

Good theory! I’d be happy with this outcome. So many questions we need answered. The mother Koril thing could be a red herring though. We know Sith can get into the minds of their opponents as well from revenge of the Sith when Palpatine pulls the “save your wife line”. But we also see other darkside users get into people’s heads like Kylo Ren does to Poe and Rey in the sequels.

Yeahhhh thats another curve ball cause thats not the first time we heard Kylos theme either it played in an earlier episode a tweaked version of it!
I definitely see a correlation between 2003 Ventress and Qimir. When she claims to be Sith and Dooku laughs at her, that’s kinda how this feels. I don’t know if I think the mother is his master or if he’s self taught through a holocron of Darth Bane or something. The last seen maybe him meeting the real Sith and becoming the acolyte.
A Bane holocron would be cool!
@@starwarssith66 it could just as easily be Revan but since he wants an apprentice Bane makes more sense. I doubt they’d go this way but I’d love it.
Actually as I cook this idea in my head it makes more and more sense. Qimir is defeated and the holocron is recovered by the Jedi, leaving them to conclude he was just misguided and never a real Sith. Ki Adi Mundi still believes they have been extinct for a millennia and that’s what Yoda studies to learn who Bane is and the rule of two.

I don’t think we’ll find out who his master is. Maybe if there was a S2 but most likely not this season. Also, he said he’s a Sith, the actor in Entertainment Weekly confirmed he’s a Sith and Lesly Headland has stated publicly since the beginning she was making a show about the Sith and from their POV. Also, Acolyte was what Sidious called all of the Sith followers in Ep 9 Rise Of Skywalker on Exogol. So Acolyte is a Sith given name/ term for follower but is not on the level of apprentice.

I also think in that moment he realized he’s already said too much ( saying Sith ) and re focuses and says now they must all die because he/ the Sith is not supposed to be able to still exist. If there is a reveal it’s probably at the very end and I hope it’s Plagueis. Disney awhile ago now did release the first Canon illustration of him and in Canon he also has no given age. The illustration makes him look like he’s also probably no longer going to be a Muun.

also qmir looks younger than sol .
They are the best two actors in the series .
They are both asian .
They are the main characters the twins are misdirection to a degree but the way it is playing out from the dialogue and the build up at this point I am going to be surprised if they aren't brothers .
Maybe sol was chosen to go with the Jedi where as qmir was rejected for what ever reason .
The twins are being used to lure sol into qmirs trapped and I will see sol possibly join his brother on the sith side ,
Attachment is the pathway to the dark side was something jeki the Padawan he was attached to said to him not long before he died ,
@@starwarssith66 they also have made an issue about the Jedi reading and wiping minds and that face hugger creature that subdued the prisoner suggest to me also that sol has had his mind wiped at some point and when he realize this that will be his turning point ,
