I have only worn makeup 2-3 times in over a year, just quit bothering as I wear a mask all day. Still like watching other people try it on though lol I'll be at home for the next month so I see pulling the makeup out and playing with it again. I'm ready for you to find a new foundation jewel!
I love hearing the rain in the background❤🌦 I was thinking about trying out this one, but I have some horrible forehead lines @ only 34yo so it doesn't sound like it would be too good, plus I can have some pretty dry spots
I *WISH* I had found this review before I bought it! Looked so beautiful from far away but clung to every piece of dry skin and separated so quickly! Subscribed so I can check your other reviews before buying next time!
The rain in the background is just lovely, unlike the Huda product. I don't like the sheen of it either. This is one I can pass up easily, thanks to you!
Thank you for this review. I have watched several videos on this product but I still was not sure if I wanted to give this a try. Your review has been the most thorough review as of yet. I have dry, mature skin with fine lines and this is the kind of reviews that I like watching. Enjoy your time back in the office and continue to be safe 😊💜
Love this stuff! I have 36 year old very sensitive combo skin. I've learned less is more with this product I use my fingers then tap out with a sponge. I also LOVE the bronzer. Im very fair and normally have a hard time finding a natural bronzer shade and the new blushes are incredible I own 2 of them already.
Love how it just melted into the skin, thank you so much for sharing! Love the soft dewy/ sheen you can achieve with this. I have dry, sensitive skin so I’m constantly looking for my unicorn/holy grail something I can just slap on and know I’ll be able to take on whatever life throws at me. ♥️
Mahalo for trying out this tint. I have been all about tints and CC, BB type of foundation products. Totally digging the eye look...even at your late check-in, it looked like it was still "fresh"
Shelly! Did you see that Estée Lauder came out with a new foundation??? I just saw! Going to order it tonight. High five to a fellow Estée Lauder gal! 😁hope you and the cats are doing well. We are back on campus too. It’s been super weird!
I just ordered the EL!! Yeah I think I said a hundred times this week in classes, "this is so weird!" It's just... weird!! And the mix of anxiety and happiness in the air with everybody is such a bizarre combination.... weird!!
Hello Shelly, world here 😹! I’ll always support you regardless of how many days you can manage to post 😉. I can simply just watch your old videos if I’m desperate 😝
That would be AMAZing and it would match my Jeep! 😂 I just got my hair trimmed and told my stylist that it would not be long before I was back to get bleached because I can't stand having "normal" colored hair for very long! It does make makeup colors easier but it never feels like "me!"
Lady! I love your videos and I have to tell you that I was on the fence with the Electric Mood collection - until your review. I still have a few things to grab but I am In Love! So thank you 🥰
Thanks, Dee! It's funny - I pulled out my school ID at work the other day for the first time in a year and a half and I had forgotten that the photo on it is from when I first moved here 10 years ago - and that was the last time I had this same hair cut! 😂
Love the "fish out of water" grade graphic & really love the (rose quartz?) choker. I hope you are well & everything goes well with going back into work. Take care & stay safe!
Hi Shelly, any plans to review the Tartelette Juicy Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette - Limited Edition? Or the new Estée Lauder double wear sheer? Thanks!
I just ordered the new Double Wear! I probably won't grab the Tarte eyeshadow only because for some reason I've always had trouble with their formula staying on my lids. It's definitely something specific to my body chemistry because they swatch beautifully but over time the wear just won't stay put.
I never wanted to try this as it looks too dewy for my liking but I heard from other you tubers this is a good mixing base for matte foundations that otherwise be too flat looking
🤔Oh Shelly...here's the thing. It's YOU, sweetpea, its you and that darn skincare routine of yours, Shelly your skin is now more healthy, more naturally glowing, and has now reached a point( at least on camera 4sure) where eye makeup,a lil blush, and maybeee, a hint of Highlighter with blush and lipstic seems to be where u have landed. Light serum foundations glow ones or not are probably working for a tiny bit of that Hyperpigmentation that ur not crazy about but seriously Ur skin is pretty all on its own !!! Isn't that the real goal..I too feel I'm almost there, a lil skin smoothing primer and an I can nearly toss foundation now a days...its really a great way to feel...much love 4 u ❤elanie
Omgsh. I live in MB. I wish I would have known. I would have loved to shop at Ulta with you! (In my mind that is what we would have done. Weird I know.)
Hmm. I don't think it oxidized. Looks like a good shade match. I haven't heard one good review on this one. I'm sticking with the Wet N Wild Tinted Moisturizer. It's just so nice, and it lasts all day on me. And there's no way to beat the price. Good luck at work! 💖💖💖
@@Ms10yearsafter I'm so glad. Try it with fingertips, a damp sponge, and brush. You can truly get three different looks! I prefer fingertips, then patting with a sponge. Such a pretty finish!

Ewww Myrtle Beach lol - (growing up in NC that was one of the closer bigger beaches 🤣). Even tho you went for a conference, glad you had some time away, it can be nice. Stay safe as you're going back to in-person, it's getting scary again out there. I've not seen much of Huda beauty that impresses me, and for the prices I expect better than what they seem to be! This one is definitely on the "nope" list for me lol.
Yep numbers here are climbing :( My local district has so many extra vax doses that they're pretty much giving booster shots for the asking, so I've got an appt next week to see if I can get mine.
DId you hear that Missha reformulated the Perfect Cover? I've got shade 13 in new and old, and I'd agree with word on the street that it is less gray and a tiny hint less dewy. Still super dewy tho and never sets down on me.
OOOOH NO I had not seen that! I feel like I need to grab a new one and check! I wonder if that's why they were at Costco a while back (when I bought the ones I have now).
@@goow I'd love to hear your thoughts!! ;) FWIW, I used to wear 13, but it seems like they replaced that with 19, which is similarly pale but not so grey. Probably a good choice!
I guess not one for me either :( thanks Shelly for another great review! I saw that Wayne Goss has a new release of nude lipsticks that look amaaaaazing!!! I know you’re also a fan of him sooo I was wondering if you are going to buy a few of this new collection? I’d love to hear your thoughts 😻
I'm debating on the new WG lips (it is a WONDERFUL formula) because they all seem to lean warm-toned. I so rarely go warm that I probably wouldn't wear them much :( I am hoping for more shades!
Hi Shelley! I don't usually get to comment because I watch you on my TV but I love and appreciate your channel. If I want to try a new foundation I see if you have reviewed it first. I find I agree with your experiences with the foundations you try, because I'm also over 40 with dry skin. I do usually use Kryolan's Dermacolour Camouflage cream these days, have you ever tried it? I also recently tried RCMAs Colour Process Foundation, raved about in reviews, although I really wanted their liquid foundation but can't seem to find that one in the UK.
I'm oily skin, very fair pink undertones (think your winter shade is usually my match), the lightest shade on this was so neutral I looked tanned. Not for me.
If you want a quick reply- she’s done several videos wearing it, and she always lists the products she’s wearing in the description box. You could check one of those videos- just search “GeekOutOfWater Makeup Revolution Fast Base stick foundation.”
I haven't had any primers NOT work with the MR stick (I've got 5 shades of the stick now so I wear it year-round). My go-to right now is the Good Molecules Silicone Free Priming Moisturizer, but I recently have been using the Elf Puff Puff primer and it worked well with it too. I also really like silicone primers - I haven't tried the stick with this new one but Wet n Wild has one called Impossible Primer that has been fantastic the first few times I've worn it.
Hi, it is worth mentioning alcohol comes in fourth position in the ingredient list, I think dry skins might not enjoy that in the long run..I tried it at the store and you can even smell it..I will pass on that one…too bad,..maybe a version alcohol free!?
Well, you continue to cement my opinion that there is no point in buying skin tints. I have yet to see one which is actually worth the money. Thanks for taking it on the chin (and in the pocketbook) again.
I feel like Huda's face is made out of concrete or something. Her other foundation, thick and heavy, The resting Boss Face Setting Spray is like Gorilla Glue for the face. Face of steel i tell ya. Good to have you back Nerd, thanks for the review 😁
I think it helps to have fillers and botox first lol.. I wasn't a fan of the sample I tried and thank goodness I had a sample because it's incredibly expensive in NZ..
Hi Shelley right from application this didn't look that great on you - I've seen so many look a lot better. I don't think I've seen a positive review of this one tbh (not in my subscription feed anyway). Huda as a brand isn't one I've had good luck with. I like the Mercury retrograde palette I have from them, but apart from the eyeshadows nothing else has really appealed to me. If that's the fairest shade it isn't catering to the really pale skinned folk (I know it will be far too dark for my ghostly self) and that's a common theme in the range. It seems to cater well to deeper skin tones, but not the other end of the spectrum. I can appreciate that deeper skins need more ranges who do cater well to them though. I guess I want all higher end brands to have an extensive enough shade range to cater to everyone. This is a firm pass for me - too dark, too shiny/plastic looking, not hydrating (which skin tints/tinted moisturisers should be) and doesn't wear well through the day. For a higher end brand I expect a bit more for the price charged. You have to wonder how much consumer testing went into it before releasing it to the public, when the reviews I've seen are not that great. I wonder what skin type it is working for? Oh well so many others to chose from. Best wishes.
Definitely not a great skin tint. Nope, not at all. Your nails, on the other hand…yeah, I’m gonna be contacting you about that one. (I finally tried my As It Ferns Out and need to post a pic for you.)
