Well first impression for me is disappointed wasn't unique like first game original boss design. Second reuse the model from pvz 2 and third it seem doesn't look that hard if your plant Max level.

The Dr Zomboss battles seems to be every Stage 5 on floors before unlocking new buildings

Zomboss’s death animation is not even soo good.
I think it is still unfinished. Notice how he does not have a specific boss music unlike the Brainiacs who all have different cool soundtracks.
