Lunarians are basically a subset of humans like the Magicians, Sennins and Celestials (all of who use magic). They are all have a youkai's lifespan, and can use magic, and (with the exception of the lunarians) any human can become one if they work at it.
Ending makes me happy. So sweet.
Byakuren's hair looks like that she died her hair orangeish but her true hair colour is purple :)

it quite depends, I heard that Lunarians have more aptitude to magic than humans, and they are much more inteligent.

no burgers, no beer, no way i'm joining Myournen temple. I think i'd hang around as a butler in the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Good food, beer, and a healthy work ethic. That and the fact the maids look a whole lot better than the monks.

1. Byakuren's theme- Emotional Skyscraper
Sennin is the japanese word for Saint or Hermit. Celestials are actually in that same category. The difference between how I'm using it is that terrestrial sennin aren't poisonous to youkai (like celestial sennin), but are actually a power booster for them when eaten. Magicians (as a kind of youkai) are actually humans. They just don't age ever because of the ability to live off of prana. Patchoulli is also human for that reason.
she's still human, just an immortal human (humans can be immortal)

Okay, all of the "Magicians" are technically humans. Magician is both a profession and a species of humans. They gain the lifespan of a youkai when they master a certain magical ability (an ability similar to the one that makes the sennins live so long). Lunarians have magic as part of their culture, so they all have a youkai's lifespan. Marisa is a magician by profession but she is still "human" because she hasn't gained the ability to live off of prana.

I know but if species (Lunarians) have way (and I mean way) more magic that should make it another species right? A youkai at least.
hmm... seems ok, (although Alice is not human, but she once was so I'm just bitchin') but, out of curiosity, what is a Sennin? Is it like a saint, hermit and things like that?

Actually, lunarians aren't a type of Youkai, it's just a term for those who can live on the moon.

The entire cosmology ZUN designed disagrees with you, "power levels" *gags* are a dumb way to decide who's a youkai and who isn't. Basically there's humans, gods, and youkai in gensokyo. Magicians, Lunarians, Celestials, and Sennins are examples of powerful humans. Examples of these characters are (in order): Alice, Kaguya, Tenshi, and literally the last 3 bosses in Ten desires)
