A useful video with clear instructions👏.. Having phoned my local pc shop, they confirmed I'm gonna need such a device to go with some speakers and headphones that I have on order. I was getting anxious that I'd made a mistake and would have to cancel my order, but no, I'm good to go👍🙂
Are you referring to this Bluetooth TP link adapter? If so, ten Yes, the TP-Link UB500 Bluetooth USB 5.0 adapter can work with Linux, but it may require some additional steps to get it working properly1 . You might need to install a driver, especially if you're using a kernel version older than 5.162 . There are guides available online that can walk you through the process of patching your kernel and installing the necessary drivers
Hey dude, may I ask... Can I use this adapter for connecting my DualShock 4 Controller and a wireless headphone simultaneously to my Laptop? Will there be a noticeable delay? Thanks in advance. Anyway, nice review on this product... It's really hard to find these kind of review on such a niche product.
Thank you very much for checking out my channel! I can't tell you for sure if your DualShock 4 controller and wireless headphone will work at the same time, because I don't own a game console or Bluetooth controller. Since the TP-Link UB500 Bluetooth adapter is a hub, it should work like any pc with built in Bluetooth. I don't know if my answer helped you or not. If you find out from some other source, please let me know.

Hey there. Do you know if this device would work if attached to a usb extension cable? Also what usb port did you plug it into? Was it a 2.0 or 3.0? Thanks! Great video, well explained :)
Hi! I just made a video for you and others that will answer your question. Here is the link for it. ua-cam.com/video/EkbtCr8-5nU/v-deo.html One more thing, it is better to connect the tp-link to 3.0. Thanks for checking out my video!

What I've been wondering is... is listening to music using a bluetooth adapter good in terms of audio quality? I've heard that some adapters produce mono audio, instead of stereo. Is that the case with this one? Also, is there any change that this might interfere with other bluetooth gear connected to the PC like mouses and keyboards? Thanks a lot!
@@UNBOXINGFORYOUJAMES thanks! Yeah, I suppose... I was just worried that it might play mono. It's just that the adapter is not that cheap here in Brazil, so I really need to make sure.
Does it work for calls? I have a different model and manufacturer, it works for sound, but calls - either sound or mic doesn't work, or I manage to make both work but then sound very distorted. So does it work work for calls (e.g. WhatsApp, Skype, Telegram...)?
do you know if it can run multiple BT devices, for example i play a lot of racing games which i use a BT xbox controller. And then also a BT headset. plz lemme know
Yes, generally headphones that use Bluetooth 5.2 should be compatible with Bluetooth adapters that are of an older version, such as Bluetooth 5.0. Bluetooth technology is designed to be backward compatible, meaning that newer devices can often communicate with older devices. However, in some cases, you might not get the full range of features or performance benefits that Bluetooth 5.2 offers when pairing with a Bluetooth 5.0 adapter. It's always a good idea to check the compatibility details provided by the manufacturers of both the headphones and the adapter to ensure a smooth pairing experience.

Works semi plug and play on Mac OS 10.14 (probably others as well). You need to disable the built in BT though.
