I had the misfortune of buying a fake ‘Emily’ for our son a few years back. It looked just as freaky as the one in your collection, and the magnets were the wrong way round which caused issues too!
I feel that the Arthur is the most unsettling out of all of them primarily due to he has Thomas’s face other than his own face. It’s like Thomas took Arthur’s body. It’s just wearing his skin.
Although disturbing, they do make for good scrap pieces for backgrounds, or for customs. I used to stockpile the knockoff rolling stock to fill in shots for background in my old videos.
Thomas has got to have one of the most unsettling faces out of the bunch. Looks like he's ready to commit atrocities unspeakable to the Fat Controller. Great video btw, these knock offs are hilarious.
A few years ago, Sam's Trains bought some fake Thomas wooden railway (and take-along) items from Aliexpress, and he also agrees that they're horrifying. He said that Thomas looks like he's gone mentally insane. He also bought a fake Freddy that had the mouth print misprinted above the mouth, which gave Freddy a fuhrer-esque moustache, which lead to Sam's Trains calling the fake Freddy "The Dictator."
I actually find them all rather humorous, I collect these for fun and majority of these characters (mighty Mac, Arthur, Sidney) you can’t find anymore, but I say sir Handel
they did my boy thomas dirty and james too. james is my favorite character but AT LEAST he has the gold dome styled one. But the true scariest one is skarloey
I will say, the knockoffs look even worse now. Some at least. I mean, Mighty Mac stole Victor's and Bash/Dash's face! The Recycling Truck look the same in TWR, but with better painted faces. But now now it's a just a box. It doesn't have does ledges on the bottom.
I think the narrow gauge coach is the most unnerving one because it looks right but it also doesn’t. It looks like it came out of an alternate universe where Thomas wooden railway was different. 1:44
The scariest one (weirdest one) is the Golden Diesel one. Because i have all the 60th Anniversary woodens including diesel. Plus i even have a bootleg golden diesel but the weirdest thing was unlike yours, mine has his "bronze diesel" name underneath him.
Ok, I have two things to say in this comment: 1: the scariest engine is by far Arthur, he looks like he is going to sell my pancreas on the black market for $7.99 2: For some reason, the engines with side plates have road wheels instead of normal ones. And in flora’s case, that is accurate because in concept art, it is stated that she can drive on road and rail. So, if you are a maniac then the knockoff flora can be used as a road variant flora. And I happen to be a maniac, so can I have road wheel flora pretty please? 🙏🥺
I have mostly moved on to model trains, but I used to make custom wooden railway engines. They will have use to someone as parts. Personally, I find Arthur the freakiest, since he has a poorly painted Thomas face.
Arthur is no ordinary train; he is a menacing figure that strikes fear into the hearts of all who cross his path. With a dark and foreboding exterior, his once bright paint is now dulled and scratched, a testament to the battles he has fought. His eyes, deep and piercing, hold an undeniable rage that seems to burn with a fiery intensity. It’s as if the very essence of his being is fueled by anger, making him a formidable presence on the tracks. As he speeds along the rails, a chilling whistle echoes through the air, warning others of his approach. The ground trembles beneath him, and the sound of grinding wood fills the atmosphere as he barrels forward, leaving destruction in his wake. Arthur’s appetite is as fearsome as his demeanor; he has an insatiable hunger for other trains, devouring them whole in a grotesque display of power. The sight of him consuming his fellow locomotives sends shivers down the spines of those who witness it, a reminder of the dark side of the Washington District Railfan's wooden railway world. The legend of Arthur has spread far and wide, with tales of his ferocity becoming the stuff of nightmares. Trains that have encountered him speak of the terror that grips them when they see his shadow looming over the tracks. His real face has just teeth, he uses a victims face, as it flails around, revealing his inner layer. Many have tried to escape his wrath, but few have succeeded. His speed and strength make him nearly unstoppable, and his relentless pursuit of dominance leaves a trail of wreckage behind him. Despite his evil nature, there is a tragic element to Arthur’s story. Perhaps his rage stems from a past filled with betrayal and loss, turning him into the monster he has become. Once a cheerful train known for his friendly demeanor, something dark has twisted his heart, leading him down this destructive path. As he continues to wreak havoc, one can’t help but wonder if there is still a glimmer of the old Arthur buried beneath the layers of fury and bitterness. In the end, Arthur serves as a cautionary tale for all trains on the tracks. His existence is a reminder of what can happen when anger and resentment consume one’s soul. While he may be feared and reviled, his story also prompts reflection on the importance of camaraderie and kindness among the trains. As long as Arthur roams the rails, the railway community will remain vigilant, ever wary of the evil train with rage behind his eyes. This took longer than i wanna admit lol, love the vid! youve earned my sub!
Oliver is the scariest one because of his face he is looking into my soul! with his killer smile he would give me nightmares none stop! he should have been left in the scrap yard !! You should give me him because i want to be traumatized for life!! :3
Not trying to enter the giveaway (I honestly don't want these either), but in the case of characters like Smudger who are only from like one or two episodes (sidetrack: while we're talking about obscure characters who got made officially, what about all of the ones who didn't? I mean, come on, a whole fleet of rack-and-pinion mountain engines and they only ever made one?!?), I think that the people who made these knock-offs probably never even SAW the shows! They were probably just like, "Here's a line of popular American toys! Let's counterfeit them!" Worst part of it is, Chinese Communism dictates what everybody does for a living, and most of these people don't even want to be in their selected craft; I mean, come on, you know that the knock-off makers take absolutely zero pride in their work, the way that these pieces are all half-hindquartered!
I once have bought some fake thomas engines, i didnt know they were fake until i put rusty on the wooden track, i got mad because it didnt fit on the rails it was MEANT for, the fakes were sir handel, stanley, rusty and i cant remember anymore
Fake Thomas toys can almost never get a good looking faces, leokimvideo viewed a LOTS of fakes and those were some of my favorite Leo videos, only a select few look ok more are creepy
watch out for copys like that, they often are painted with led colors and the plastic also can be bad for any kid. You really should avoid smaller kids to use them.
5:19 that story of how that D10 got makeup, reminds me of that one “leaked” Day Of The Diesel clips that had D10 with Daisy’s face at the end: ua-cam.com/video/lY9S3EmxJ5k/v-deo.htmlsi=Nh0DYqKDz7p3ykHi
in my opinion, i think the scariest one is percy or thomas. something about them just doesn't feel right. also flora and mavis for some reason have car wheels instead of train wheels. (you can tell by the spikes)
I think that the scariest is Skarloey. 5hat squished body with alongated and small proportions just make him look horible in general. By just his face he just looks freaky.
1the scariest locomotive for sure is Emily those eyes and that evil face but another one that is very scary too is the might mac please chose meI never had a Thomas toy 😢
Honestly I'm willing to take every single one but I understand if this sounds like a wild request. Despite their ugliness there are probably all the people who also want these just like me I would find them useful for customizing. Btw the scariest one is skarloey.
That Fake oliver looks wrong with that blue dome and creepy face his face is the most freaky. And that Recycling truck/car is just a box with a creepy face on wheels
I had the misfortune of buying a fake ‘Emily’ for our son a few years back. It looked just as freaky as the one in your collection, and the magnets were the wrong way round which caused issues too!

Dude Arthur with Thomas' face is HILARIOUS. Poor thomas looks deranged 😂 Great video, keep posting.
Thanks so much!
6:42- That's Biesel, my FAVORITE character
Although disturbing, they do make for good scrap pieces for backgrounds, or for customs. I used to stockpile the knockoff rolling stock to fill in shots for background in my old videos.
Thomas is really scary, I think I dont want to sleep tonight
Thomas has got to have one of the most unsettling faces out of the bunch. Looks like he's ready to commit atrocities unspeakable to the Fat Controller.
Great video btw, these knock offs are hilarious.
Skarloey is the scariest. It look he traumatized

It has to be the knock-off Mighty Mac, both faces look terrifying. Runner up would have to be knock-off Emily, she looks like she did acid.
That's because you haven't seen the other version.
I actually find them all rather humorous, I collect these for fun and majority of these characters (mighty Mac, Arthur, Sidney) you can’t find anymore, but I say sir Handel

8:09 hold up... THAT'S PROTEUS' FACE!
Good eye! I totally missed this
The Scariest is Donald he looks like he was to strike me
Probably the scariest one is Skarloey, literally the definition of "I've seen things no man should ever see"
So true
In my opinion, the scariest one is Skarloey, no seriously look at his face, it looks like he's begging for help and to take him to the optician.
Honestly it has to be between the twins or the narrow gauge engines as the worst. Most of there eyes are just so wonky it’s funny. 😂
I use knock offs for customs, most of my engines are custom, i cover them with paint so the lead paint won't touch me :D
Arthur has Thomas'face
I don’t exactly want to win something I can get for a dollar
I think the mighty make might have been official because the faces on the bootlegs are from Victor and Dash
Not really, it's because this knock-off is older, and is from an era where the trains were more similar to the official ones.
Sidney is the scariest 😢😞
My favorite part is from 0:00 - 10:43
That's literally the entire video
@@Thomasfan1954exactly 💯
Arthur with Thomas' face is cursed, although the Thomas model is actually pretty scary.
Skaroley is probably creepy/scary probably or sir handle.
I think the narrow gauge coach is the most unnerving one because it looks right but it also doesn’t. It looks like it came out of an alternate universe where Thomas wooden railway was different. 1:44
The scariest would have to be busy bee James because on the original listing his name is Bill and the tender is called Bill Car
Arthur looks like someone from Satin
Skarloey be looking like those creepy Puppet Combo killers or those SCP monsters
The scariest one (weirdest one) is the Golden Diesel one. Because i have all the 60th Anniversary woodens including diesel. Plus i even have a bootleg golden diesel but the weirdest thing was unlike yours, mine has his "bronze diesel" name underneath him.
Where did you buy the arthur? I would like to reuse the chassis for a custom

Yoo ngl bro that Arthur is cursed AF 😂 Thomas's face like how tf u mess that up bro rip to bro 😭🙏🔥
Many might not think that Sidney would be the scariest but imagine seeing him in the dark.... freaky
Rusty is also missing his fuel tank between his body and front of the cab!
ive been looking for stuff to make customs out of, these would help, and i think that skarloey is the scariest!

in my opinion, i think the scariest one is percy or thomas. something about them just doesn't feel right.
