Yes and the armature is just disconnected it will work the one crank arm is stuck below the counter weights. And I think if you rebuild the other one it too will work,if not mount a storage tank on it and make it as an accessory
I LOVE menards train products, they are cheap and affordable, look good, and operate well, plus most buildings come with one or two extras and not just lights
A $123 box of broken factory seconds? I'm not impressed. It doesn't look good for their image to let non-functioning products be sent to customers. These items should have been trashed, not sold!
That Klearvue tin playing cards is something that we got as employees for Menards. I work in the Cabinets and Appliances department and Klearvue is Menards cabinet brand.
That's what I'm thinking regarding the two oil pumps, is that the more broken one was provided as a courtesy to provide a source of parts with which to fix the less broken one. Regarding the gas station, that's not too terribly bad, actually - nothing that a little bit of elbow grease and some good ol' fashion farmhand ingenuity can't fix 😉 That FedEx center is awesome! I can see why you wanted one; and now you have one! And honestly, if the forklift's just hanging around loose, then just place it on the layout - I'm personally not a fan of these O-Scale structures with vehicles that just move out and in aimlessly, anyway 😂 Those die-cast vehicles look pretty clean, too; if Menards' die cast vehicles are any better than the similar-scale ones that you can get for cheap at the grocery store, the corner drug store, or the convenience store, then I'll honestly be impressed - but you seem to have heard good things about them, so there's that 🤔 And regarding the freebies, IDC if they did just grab a couple of randoes from backstock - using a two-deck tin of standard playing cards as advertising for decking services is pretty dang smart, especially if you're gonna give them away for free; and I honestly feel like that monster truck missile launcher would look right at home next to an O-Guage Desert Storm trainset from back in the day, too 😅 Seriously, though, stop in your local Dollar Tree and pick up some Genuine Casino Played decks of cards for $1.25 a pop +tax, making sure to not duplicate any, and invite the crew over for a game of Nertz. At least the playing cards will get some love 😉 Can I see myself paying $122.50 (or whatever), plus-or-minus tax and shipping, for two large-scale die cast vehicles, three O-Scale structures with nondescript defects, and a couple of randomly selected free items, all without having any clue as to what I might get? Heck no! (It's bad enough having to tell my customers at Dollar Tree that nobody at our store even knows what items are on the next truck!) But if I had your luck, then honestly, I'd call what you received a win 😊
they all can be fixed not hard to fix them just need some glue thats the one good thing as long as the moving parts are not broken so ya don't toss anything they are 100% EASY FIXES PLEASE REACH OUT ILL HELP YA IF I CAN.
geez, unless the description specifically states that the items may be factory seconds/ damaged returns/ etc. id be contacting them about compensation.
I'd say it's not worth the coin as some of the things inside of said box did not survive shipping, specifically the buildings outside of the FedEx one.

I did a mystery box years ago. Im into S gauge, but I was impressed with what I got!
If Menards did more HO scale stuff i'd be more interested in their stuff, because it really does seem to be VERY good quality!
