  • Two simple steps to make what I call a radio wave tie-dye. It is assumed the viewer knows basic tie-dye techniques.

    Cool idea there....although I must say...your general technics like putting a hole in the actual lid on your black....CLASSIC! I was wondering what I could do to get more control with my dye...so glad I watched! Also...never knew that the tighter the rubber band, the more white. Another big help. I am so grateful for people like yourself who take the time to inform us, who are just getting started. Thank you so much!!

    Just wanted to say thank you for this video. I’m making a large tapestry and although I didn’t do the wave, your directions for alternating the colors from front to back really helped as well as using black with pin point in cap to make it more psychedelic and not overwhelming. I think it’s going to turn out great.

    I honestly didn't think it would turn out as good as it did! I love the end result! :)

    okay serious question I was gonna try this tomorrow, the sheet does not fold the way yours does (fold in half then fold in half again) to make the triangle yu end up with what would happen if I added one more fold?

    does anyone know the name of the type of tie dye shirt where its sort off like a swirl but starts out in the shoulder and is mainly like 2 colors for example. dark blue and light blue?

    Like someone asked, how do you do it on a shirt?

    • @cashtwonine
      @cashtwonine 10 років тому

      Just fold the sleeves in so the shirt becomes rectangular, fold it in half, and then follow the rest of his technique.
