I went to school here from 1955 to 1958 and it looks now exactly as it did then! Incidentally, we were told that the 5th clock face on the spire was to provide the workers in the nearby fields could see the time.
This is a great channel. I've really enjoyed watching so many of your videos. It's right up my street! p.s. I dropped by the other day to get a close look at the G.R. postbox you mentioned at Clatterbridge :)
Go to the village hall for gigs. Just wished they had buses going to and from more areas. Live 3 miles away but takes an hour by public transport. Always use the car.
great video - the churches themselves deserve more attention as to how they come to be built. I bellieve St Georges spire features 5 clocks, one positioned at a different angle so the benefactor who built it could see the time fro his house
Another interesting video. I plan on visiting again one day to film from above, not been there for over 35 years..👍

Thank you for this, I grew up on the Wirral and moved when I was 16 or so. Love to revisit for nostalgia.
Thanks for watching. There is over 400 videos on the channel. Lots for you to see.
Really is a lovely place thanks for doing this video.
Great Observations
Lovely place, I only ever get to see this place briefly as I travel on the bus, thank you.
Thanks for watching. Maybe worth getting off the bus and having a wander round one day.

Thanks for watching. To be honest I only noticed the GR, when I was filming it.
