Aldo vs Bautista it'll be fun, here in Brazil Aldo is the underdog with +230. I got him to win this fight and i think he'll beat Bautista pretty easily after re-watch the fight between Bautista x Simon. Aldo basically was retired and came back to schooled Jonathan Martinez (who's in my opinion way better than Bautista) for 3 rounds. He's training his boxe with the Brazilian Navy team and you can see that his boxe is way more cleaner since then. I don't see Bautista winning here, because his striking is a bit sloopy, what about the takedowns? Well, Aldo has 92% of takedown defence, and he's in the UFC since 2010, Merab wasn't able to took him down so i don't think Bautista can either do this, the only way that he can probably win this fight is holding Aldo against the cage, like Merab did, but yeah, Aldo is gonna be my lock for this 307 card.
Unfortunately this Holland breakdown is leading me to think Roman is taking it for sure. This is too similar to the Sean/Merab breakdown for me to ignore the plus money. Might even look at Roman decision if it’s near +400 or so
@@stefanm2731 I agree and Merab wasn’t threatening with submissions at all, just laying on top of Sean was enough to get him the win sadly. I don’t want it to happen, but I can just see that being a viable path to victory
@@Bossdonolly Great underdog value. The days of. taller and more reach being a sure thing have been turned upside down by guys like DuPlessis. Taller fighters snipe from the outside, stalky powerhouses rush and work the takedown. There's just no assurances of anything. I really like Pereira, but this is all too much, way too soon. Also, think about how much Rountree WANTS it after his short, heart-stopping PED ban.
My picks for this fight from most confidence to least confidence are: Pereira, Harrison, Almeida, Buckley, Spann, T. Pennington, R. Pennington, Aldo, Dolidze, Hernandez, Means, Rodriguez. Good Luck Everyone!
I've seen a lot of MMA betting channels and Henry cejudo, Volk, Izzy, DJ, all of them pick Aldo so it feels like a really good lock. I'm gonna punch something if the judges fuck it up
Its easy to pick Pereira here but Rountree would be the one to put his lights out. I dont trust Alex’s chin at all, but I do much prefer straight shots over wild hooks 🤷🏻♂️
It's still a step up in competition for Roundtree. He never fought nobody of substance. He has a punchers chance s here.Alex has to get clipped by a shot he never sees coming.
@@hunterruzal Fair call. I suppose one can be an amazing top tier fighter, but still not be a great wrestler. It will be an interesting fight as it is Wonderboy 41 vs someone who wouldn't get a sniff at him if Wonderboy was 31.
AJ to be fair, Cesar almeida was showing kopylov levels in the standup and by damage scoring he should’ve won vs kopylov. Kopylov used his sambo and just laid and prayed ontop of Cesar to a split decision because Cesar was landing the better and more damaging strikes overall.
Ang...On the other video you Said Aldo Ko Uriah cause of legs Kicks... Well Aldo Beat Uriah at WEC 48 2010... Watched that fight.. Brutal leg kicks But at the end of Round 5... Aldo Won by UD...Uriah didn't give up or quit cause of kicks...
Hola, AJ. I tune in every week, but usually just write 'w' in the comments. I wouldn't spend my time doing that if I didn't think you were good, and entertaining, so let's say that goes without saying. I'm commenting now, as a fellow Holland fan, to say I only agree with three things you said about Holland: 1) He's the better striker; 2) he should be the underdog; and 3) the elevation is probably worse for Dolidze. That said, Dolidze won't be able to take him down? Or pass? I think he does both of those things with relative ease. I don't think he'll need to take him down, because Holland won't be able to get back up. 1 takedown wins a round. I don't think he finishes on the first one, but every takedown after the first might be the beginning of the end. They're NOT the same size, and even if they were, Dolidze would still have a huge strength advantage. I think if Dolidze can't get takedowns, Holland knocks him out, sure, but on that basis I'll also say I think Holland is KO or bust, and I think bust is way more likely.
I'm not a fine of Pena's personality. At all. So I'll be rooting for Pennington. But, I don't think there is all that much of a skill difference anywhere, and Pena is the faster and more explosive, and almost certainly 'wants it more'. She's an opportunist, and this is her only chance to get the belt before Kayla takes it and defends it n-1 times (supposing they can even find challengers...), so she should be ultra motivated. I think Pennington is happy with her career, but also cognizant that she's not in any goat conversations, and that the outcome of a (probably) marginal win or loss vis-a-vis Pena doesn't have much effect on her 'legacy'. She's probably basically in it for the money at this point, and she'd probably be happy to jump ship to PFL if she loses this, but thinks she could win $$ there. So in a fight that I think will be quite close and go the cards to be judged by crap judges, I'll take the +140 on the hungrier, slightly younger, and less shop-worn woman.
Altitude is a big factor in salt lake AJ, really bad, McGhee lives and trains there, trains at the pit, MMA gym, he is used to the high altitude, it's normal to him, and I know fighters will go two weeks before to adjust, it's not the same, these cards in salt lake are always the same, people gas out, who normally have a good gas tank , unless Tim means gets it done early, i see McGhee as a good underdog aj
30:42 Roman has never been finished and has fought harder hitters. The smart, conservative bet on this one is Roman at +3.5 spread which should be about -110. That way if Kevin wins the split 28-29 you still cash. Not the payday of +160 ML, but the safer play. I don't see Kevin getting the KO, sub or UD. Agree the Roman should be the fav and the odds may shift that way this week.
Roman should not be the favorite at all, if Kevin comes in looking even close to his 2020 performances, he will crush Roman quick. He took Michal out in less than 2 minutes, meanwhile Roman's best win is Jack Hermansson.
@@Botmfeeder02 Possible, but I do believe we will see near a pick 'em before Saturday. Roman's odds went from +170 to +154 in the last 48 hours. IMO only Roman deserves to be only even or slight fav odds; will see ....... at +170 Roman was just a good value bet.
I honestly don't like either Julianna or Khali getting title shots. Khali flunked drug test and Julianna went missing for 2 year after losing the rematch badly on the feet against Amanda. Raquel vs Julianna thoughts:I would easily favor Julianna if both are athletic primes to be honest.Julianna has very good grappling skills(usually show good top position control on the mat from the fights I seen) imo and more likely to finish the fight.Julianna has a few thing against her to overcome. She hasn't fought in 2 years, usually when female fighters lose fights and get immediate title fight afterwards they usually lose. Altitude may be a problem for her(Raquel trains in Denver while Julianna trains in Chicago and Denver is much similar in attitude to Salt Lake City).I don't like picking fighters that coming from loses but Julianna is my pick due to being more aggressive(if she hasn't lost it yet). Alex vs Khali thoughts: Roundtree has a great record against kickboxers that fought in GLORY Kickboxing. He is a counter kickboxer but he leaves himself open for counters.Alex has shown massive variety in striking skills. From punches, kicks, knees and elbows. I think Alex should be favored but Roundtree is a knockout threat of his own right with his counter punches.
