Scene played as more tragic in the anime, so probably would have been more out of place to suddenly dice a dude. Appreciate the way they did it here, especially with him being silent throughout while the OST goes hard af.

The sad music in this episode is very touching, as it reflects what Jin-woo went through and what awaits him in the future. Truly, the work team did not disappoint their fans with this manhwa. They turned it into a masterpiece.

The penalty didn't show up at first because the system was calculating in real time an appropriate consequence. The first time he saw the notification about his heart stopping was just to let him know he had practically no time to make a decision in episode 2. The penalty the system chose this time was death due to heart stopping to show the irony of Jinwoo's situation. The system chose to remind Jinwoo that it's not by his strength that he's still alive. This is partially the reason that Jinwoo snaps because he realizes that even the system is using him, and he is tired of being abused and used.
The penalty changed which is why he was very shocked and realized that the system is no charity theres a reason why it needs him alive. When Jinwoo is watching the rain, it shows that despite him losing part of his morality, he is still a good brother. Some humanity remains even after murder.😊
btw in case u guys don't know, many manhwas start on light novels and then adapt it into a manhwa. i believe the anime is basing on the light novel itself coz in ep1 they also showed eunseok on the 3rd raid of jeju island, but he's not in the manhwa. also, some scenes in the anime are anime-only scenes that are not in the light novel and manhwa so i'm glad a-1 did it this way so the characters and the story will have more depth.
