    Not only do some people refuse to sacrifice their comforts for success, but they'd rather envy and bad mouth you rather than use that same energy to put in the work.

    I honestly got it made. I work 4 days a week, 92k/yr. I don’t care about working 24/7. My favorite thing when I get off is having dinner with my wife and kid. Hanging out with kid on my off days and game time with the boys on Saturday. I actually prefer to enjoy my life instead of missing out on all these memories slaving at work. My wife is a RN and works 3 12’s. I didn’t know what work/life balance was until I got it and I love it.

    Brother, I worked in corporate America for 25 years and I had work-life balance being a "regular guy" Going thru layoffs, making mid-income. However, I was there with my kids and I've had amazing experiences as a father, son, and husband. It was a huge sacrifice, to pay child support sacrafuce every weekend for 30 years not able to do what I wanted to do. But guess what? my kids are grown, all are doing great Praise God! I'm going to hit 50 I'm way better now than in my 20s, 30s or even 40s. Now I get to do what I want and God willing I still have years to do what I want. So for me, I've won and keep winning.

      @@OgChefTosh yeah man - it’s hard which is why the numbers speak to it. The vast majority of small businesses fail. I am a small business owner - I still hold my primary job. My company is going great and continues to grow. Being married with 2 kids while holding a corporate job and running a company is monumentally difficult. I will say that my family time gets sacrificed and some sleep. It’s been 4 years and my wife has not left me yet. My goal is to get to a point where I can walk away from my corporate job and work at my company full time.
      I know what the targets to hit that milestone is. Each year I get closer. If you want it bad enough - you will do what needs to be done. I understand that there are consequences to my past - current and future choices of operating this way.

But, in the end, if I continue on this path, I will reach financial freedom. Your time is calculated with everything that you do. Females respect you more cuz they know you are grinding for a purpose. This type of grinding isn’t for everyone and I respect those who want to have an average normal life. Very few people in the world have this type of focus. That’s what makes them the 1%’ers of the world…

    I have work-life balance, and I personally know gentlemen who have a net worth of millions, I mean 20, 30, or even 50 million dollars. Now, in the beginning, yeah, you may have to work some extra hours and perfect your craft. But most people don't have a plan.
    For example, you work and save, let's say, $800 a month for 12 months. That's $9,600 a year. In ten years, you'll have 96,00 0 in cash. Let's go deeper; during this time, you also have a Roth and a 401k. Put another 10% of your income into those accounts. From the $800, now the rest of the income is yours to enjoy. Just think more long-term, and find what works for you.
    Another example, let's say you sell real estate as an agent. Every time you sell a home, you make a $3,000 commission. Do that 10 times, and add that amount to your salary-boom! You've increased your net worth. Just find out how you can do it easily and manage your time.

      @UTP504 2 місяці тому +4

      You’re on point, most people don’t have a plan for their lives, let alone their money. Like if they put that $800 a month, or if they put the average monthly car payment of $735 that they’re paying into the S&P stock market, they would have well over $100k in 10 years, and just keep on building from there.

    I'm going to say this again I am planning on becoming a film producer and screenwriter. I am single with no kids. If I was in a relationship especially if I had a husband and kids I would not be able to work on making a movie. Film production involves a lot of paper work screenwriting is writing a 127 page script then rewriting that same script over. A producer at least works 12 or 13 hours a day because the actors work at least 8 hours and maybe 10 hours at the most then everyone goes home except for the producer because the producer has to stay working longer because they are the one who is making the movie. I am not becoming a filmmaker just for the money. If I wanted to become a filmmaker just for the money then I would be making terrible movies and television shows. Trust me it will show , but I can't be in a relationship if I want to be a filmmaker because a man would not want a woman who is writing screenplays all day and making movies all year long this is the reason why Tyler Perry is single and 50 cent is single because all they have time for is to make tv shows and movies. But I am not just making a movie for the money I am making movies because I am passionate about it.

    There is no such thing as balance. Either just work your ass off and be obsessed and driven, or you’re going to be broke.
    Get rich or die trying. You’re a fire fighter. You endure, and face the hardships of life to be successful. That’s the mindset.
    Mr Galloway is right: there is no work life balance. If you want to be in the top ten percent, then you’re going to have to sacrifice fun and travel and vacations.

    work life balance is all related to the timelines you put on your goals. if you compress your timelines or have unrealistic timelines because you don't know how long things will take, then of course you have no time for other things. The mistake people make is they think they have to be rich to enjoy their life. Nothing is further from the truth.
    The happiest days I ever had, were as long as I had change in the cigarette tray to buy a beer or pay for gas.. life was good. It's just perspective.. When your just following the latest trends and not using principles, your screwed, hustle culture is a trend for burnout.
    You have to be content no matter how much money your making, if your not happy or content then none of it matters. You will just push and push and push, till your body says F you.. With that said, you have to understand leverage if want to go faster.

    I personally like franks mindset from scarface. You want to be in the middle, making money but not so big that you have a target on your back. But hey, to each their own go chase bags , I just want a bag or two or three and chill work hard and then break and count the earnings and plan accordingly. Tony got cut in half with a shotgun for his greed. Also, I've been in mansions like they have wings to the place and need to tell me where to go and they are old tired and still working so much that they can't leave their meeting for 10 seconds to talk to me. No thanks, and the mansion had a lot of problems. Slide doors wouldn't open the driveway stones would pop up when you drove on them. The front door wouldn't lock. A lot of problems still paying for the mansion while the thing is falling down around you

Now with inflation in 2024 let's say you need probably $120,000 per month to become one. Now Zuck did not become wealthy with facebook the stock made him wealthy, assets create wealth time has never made anyone rich it has always been a myth all that extra time was spent doing exactly what? I made $3 million in two months May and April of 2024 by investing not time. Assets my friend assets. The rich simply want you to think they have slaved even if we call it time.... Good video..
