"Yes, but why are you taking photos?" hahaha this reaction is gold...and it makes you think a bit deeper on why you are doing street photography! :P Nice one mate!
i am wayyy too introvert to do street photography (i don't want to have to argue with people and intrude their privacy) but having povs is always cool edit: i suppose explaining other people your reason of doing any kind of photography is something hard to tell if you are not experiencing it firsthand. i mean this special feeling... great pictures!
Very well made video with seamless inserts of the still photographs which are great. Very bold spontaneous approach and the rainy streets create a lovely moody atmosphere.
Not sure how I stumbled on this vid but glad I did, very buttery shots my friend. Another reason I love this prime is because of it's lens hood to protect from rain. My 85mm dg dn is arriving today and can't wait to pair it with my RIII. Cheers!
Loving these POV's, I want to start doing it as its a bit different where I live, no big towns or busy areas. But your the reason I want to start! Just easy going and amazing shots, as well as giving tips!
Love the night shot video with the Sigma 85/1.4. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive although it's an L-Mount. Wonderful reviews out there for the lens. Keep them coming.
Hi! I really like what you're doing! I would love to try street photography myself! I've been thinking about what Camera I should buy, can you recommend any that is beginner friendly for a fair quality and price?
Great video as always mate, absolutely amazing. btw what part of London is this, i noticed so many shops with Arabic signs, it really got me interested/excited
Wow man, amazing Video, amazing Shots! Ich really love your style! I am starting with streetphotography and first lense is a sigma 24-70 2.8 Art. Which Prime lenses would would you recommend? Thinking about a 35mm Gmaster and a 85mm? What are your preferred focal lenghts for street? Best regards from Germany
When I picked this lense up a few months back it blew me away 100%, and still does when I get the right shot with it. Sigma really are top of their game with this lense and I think only a Sony G Master would be on par, at probably double the price and then some. Pretty much use this all the time for street photography, my 55mm Zeiss doesn't get a look in anymore. :D
@@pentagramyt417 Definitely. The quality is insane. That said, wildlife photographers usually need or want a lense with a bit more zoom due to not being able to get close to things like birds etc. You might want to try an 85mm first before making the purchase just to be sure.
@@UndisclosedHost It's more like a close range, not more far than 20 meteres away. I am on my way on the buy of full frame camera wiith a good lens, and i am so unsure. I would like to get sony a7iii + this lens, but I can not decide.. :|
@@pentagramyt417 I’ve got the Sony a7iii and it’s superb with this lens. Not a camera I’d advise somebody just starting out to get but if you’ve got the cash and want to start at a semi high level, the Sony a7iii is a great piece of kit. If you don’t need zoom then the 85mm you can’t go wrong with due to the insane high quality images it kicks out.
Hey dude. So it's mainly down to the focus mode - I'm using the Autofocus Continuous mode which means the camera is constantly finding the focus of subjects as they move!
@@thevisuallife Thanks! I will have to see how to get that on my camera because at the moment I only have a nikon D5100, I wanted to upgrade to a newer sony camera until I realised the price, also would you have any tips on how I could turn photography into a job in the future?
@@charlieparis3454 I used a nikon d700 years ago, and I would usually be patient at a specific spot that looked good and wait for someone to walk into the frame. Best way to get good focus without using top end gear. Get yourself a 50mm 1.8 too, on your camera it'll be near enough the same focal length as the 85 uses in this video.
You should watch some John Free videos. He does amazing street photography & has tons of experience, advice, tips, & etc. Nice video though! I rock the a7iii w/ ziess 85
I love street photography, its life as it happens but, the people sometimes. I try very hard to avoid getting people in my shots but you know it can't be helped.
Hi i tried to make my first video my GoPro 9 is 4.3 ratio what should I use to match that on my camera? I had to shrink all my photos and was wondering what camera setting would be best thanks

Hahaha yes I agree, that was an interesting interaction! Thanks for tuning in mate
I'm on her side in this
@@fredriksvard2603 why?
My answer will be "I want to leave something behind"
I would say there's no why when you do what you love. Why take care of plants? Why play video games?

what AF settings do you use ? :)

how did you shoot that POV? GoPro?
