Lol the fact that he sees batman as this demonic figure in spite of unmasking him makes you wonder how truly afraid he actually was of batman. He didn't see Bruce, he saw batman staring into his soul with those blood red demonic eyes. I loved it!!

Because Joker is so twisted that he doesn't even know what fear is or what fear is like. Scarecrow is a sane person who has fear like anybody else.

By this point in the game, Bruce Wayne is dead, that person no longer exists after the 1st injection. Joker was in control during the 2nd, and who is Joker confronted by? The Batman, the unstoppable myth & legend. He even says before locking him away, "I am vengeance. I am the night. I. AM. BATMAN. It's even evident as he talks to Scarecrow, he has no emotion or tone to his voice like Bruce would. He is now physically & mentally, Batman.
Bruce Wayne was simply a man Batman was an ideal
Jokers toxin killed the man but in doing so it allowed the ideal to take the pieces of the man to become truth to become *alive, INFINITE*
Then the joker died and what little was useful absorbed into the bat with the rest discarded like trash

I will never get tired of watching Scarecrow get a taste of his own medicine and hallucinate a demonic looking Batman.
We've seen it in the Animated Series, Batman Begins, and this. Have I missed any other examples?

It wasn't Scarecrow, but in Dark Knight Returns Batman emerges as a demonic looking creature to one of Two-face's goons after he throws some kind of bomb that doubles as a smoke grenade and a toxin releaser.

0:42 when Jason previously known as The Arkham Knight shoots Scarecrow's gun and saves Bruce so he can defeat Scarecrow by injecting his toxin on his neck was badass and the music score was awesome. Scarecrow's scream in 1:44 was hilarious and also when Gordon punched him.

In Blackest Night, it's stated that Scarecrow exposed himself to his fear Toxin so much that he became immune to it, and that Batman was the only thing that made him feel fear anymore, which is ironic because Batman is dead in that storyline.
Maybe he's immune to the original toxin. The one he uses in AK is far more potent.
in the Arkhamverse, Scarecrow developed a partial immunity to the toxin, but if exposed to a strong enough dosage, it can overcome the immunity

Considering what happened in Haunted I like to bet Robin was effected by Scarecrow's Fear Toxic in Slade's mask and it would be hilarious and interesting to see Sonic Shadow Silver Tails Amy Knuckles Cream Cheese their friends Spyro Reignited Trilogy Spyro and Rayman Link and their enemies getting attacked by Scarecrow's Fear Toxic.
I can totally imagine it happening with Eggman Ripto and the others especially Ganondorf too that would be interesting.

As satisfying as this scene is, I think it’d be even better if Aaron Cash got a hold of Scarecrow’s new Fear Toxin and injected it into Riddler and then things will be even more satisfying to see that rotten arrogant jerk be so terrified he’ll be scared to even hear himself think!
Scarecrow became more menacing then ever but he still was a frail man like before. Without Arkham Knight & Deathstroke as muscle, he stood no chance against a powerhouse like Batman.

Fun fact, in many universes including the Arkham and Dark Knight universes, Scarecrow is immune to his fear toxin. The only exception is when he’s faced with Batman

I dunno... I felt sorry for Crane in that vulnerable moment. He is a weak man with not much physical strength. So to see the fear in his eyes when he struggles, and especially when he screams, makes me sad for him! He had an awful childhood and he was mauled badly by Croc (love Croc, but that was a shitty moment of him). He is definitely a tragic character. Psychologically flawed, but he became my favourite Batman villain after having been obsessed with Joker.

It is actually sad that Batman doesn't fear death. As Scarecrow said, "Without fear life is meaningless", Batman is so past the fear of death that it's almost, in a f***d up way, a superpower.
