ThankYou everyone, your comments warms my heart! :) I'm so happy that you like it. Keep commenting! ♡♡♡ Do you remember any other games we played as kids that you'd like a tour of? :)
I cannot believe I found this here! I was in LOVE with this game when I was a child, and am so happy that you are keeping its memory alive! I truly wish they would re-make it. It is so fun and creative! I was very excited to hear all of the sound effects. Are you still running it on the old system?? Also, did you ever play Treasure Cove!? :)
Thank you for sharing this, brought back so many memories!! Miss this game and wish it would be remade. I didn't realise how educational it was :) And the voice over of "in the middle of nowhere" is also still in my head 15 years later haha
I used to play this for many hours as a kid too. My childhood was playing dos games from Broderbund . :) I have been trying to remember the name for years and then I run across your video! Thank you for the fond memories!
Haha I googled "Hangin' out at the treehouse" because this song was stuck in my head from the game I used to play as a kid. Lots of good times with this game. Thanks for posting. :)
Feeling some nostalgia... i just watched "Treasure Mountain" gameplay and "Nigel's World" gameplay and couldn't remember what this game was called. I agree, I have no idea how to play this anymore but i remember all the pictures. It's fantastic! Thanks for the gameplay. Brings back memories of my grandparents as well
Oh... Em... Gee.. Memories of this game and playing it at my cousins 20 years ago randomly came to mind and I thought I'd try and look it up.. Thanks for posting this! This takes me way back, played it constantly when I visited their place.

Also seconding their comment, decided to google "treehouse" and glad I found this, spent HOURS playing this when I was 6 back in 91 on my 8088 running dos :)
***** Awsome game I have the mac version just uploaded please check mine out and comment I had the doss version to back in the day but I dont have anything to run it any more but I still have the box though also see I have the playroom its like the tree house.
oh my goodess! every time there's an eclipse the phrase and voice comes to mind "during an eclipse" in exactly the same way! I couldn't remember what it was from, but now I know- that makes me so happy!!
I vaguely remember playing this game at school, when I was a little girl. I liked the music game and the theater game the best. But, I think there are much better nostalgic games now.
Hahaha, what a throwback! Personally, I spent most of my time in the car game. Thanks for posting. Ah, you can also drop the worm down to the ground and feed it to a fish in the small pond.
I remember playing this game when I was very little about 4 or 5. I did not have the appreciation for the musical note minigame but I did love the animal one. It is supposed to be played as a sort of guessing game where you are given clues as to which animal is hiding in the bushes. Now that I am older I want to play around in the musical section again.
Haha Isn't that awesome! That's exactly what happend to me :) Randomly found a picture of it, installed and played it and went straight back to my happy childhood :D
Wow I thought I was only kid who played this game as a young lad. I used to love this game. My favorite games were the music one, and the dice game. I loved getting new shit for the treehouse too and seeing if i can find new clickables. hey did you ever play those EA games ( i forgot brand name) some character you play is stuck in a castle and you can explore the castle and you find games and cool stuff another game made by same company was some kinda dancing game. You pick a setting, characters, music, and you make a story or dance scene. that was very cool and fun. I enjoyed that! ---- after these kinda games i got into "the sims" and play that and thought those were the cooolest games out there. but then my friend introduced me to diablo game. And every game i played before it sucked lol. Now I am a nerd who plays video game themes on piano lol
wow! thank you so much for putting this up! I've missed this game so much! I think it would drive me insane now, but it was my favorite when I was little. do you still have the floppy disk? is that how you are playing it?
Thank YOU for watching! :) I am using a program called DOSBox0.74 that allows me to emulate the game :) The game is so old I had to use the emulator to get it to work!
MsGamerSE I'm not familiar with DOSBox, if I wanted to have this game on a modern PC, I'd have to download that? Did you convert the floppy to a disc or something else??
i loved this.. i tried to find it to find out the name.. i keep telling my kids how fun the game was and how it reminds me of Donkey Kong… i did this in my 2nd grad-4th grade computer class.. it was in 1992
I used to love this game, it took up a lot of my childhood until I passworded my computer and forgot the password lol. There was another game I played where you could dump pink(?) buckets of slime on enemies, you wouldn't happen to know the name of this game would you?
Oh my god I played this game all the time for a few years. This video brings back a lot of great memories.
ThankYou everyone, your comments warms my heart! :) I'm so happy that you like it. Keep commenting! ♡♡♡ Do you remember any other games we played as kids that you'd like a tour of? :)

kirkmazel88 no, didn't try Treasure Cove! Is it worth looking up? :) (sorry for my late reply!)
***** Oh and no, I ran it on a PC with Windows 7, I specify how to do it in the beginning I think :) you need to do some sound settings as well :)
I remember playing this on the Windows 95.Mind you,I was 8 yrs old. Most of all,my favorite activity was the music.
Gosh, the memories! I remember loving this game so much.
Thank you for sharing this, brought back so many memories!!

And the voice over of "in the middle of nowhere" is also still in my head 15 years later haha
Jaymie-Lee Janes "in the middle of nowhere" and "the time is..." are occasional quotes in my family lol
Just played it a little bit as a plug in. It brings back so much memories and a better game to play for kids than what they are playing today.
TravelGuy9834 how did you play it??
Go to ClassicReload.com and type "The Treehouse."
Were you able to find it okay?
Been looking for this game for years. You brought me back to childhood. Thanks.
