Awesome review! I've loved the LCD Steam Deck and can definitely tell that the OLED screen just takes it to another level. Definitely excited for the future that Valve has in store!
Welcome to the Steam Deck family. Though the deck is just an extension for one's Steam library. And you can still play gsmes that are not "Verified" like Arkham Knight, and it will run smoothly at 60fps.
@@_GntlStone_ some games do it and some don't. MCC for example I logged into Xbox Live and popped achievements and cloud saves. It's just inconsistent.
The steam deck is crippled by having all the functionality of an actual pc disabled by a combination of Linux & SteamOS. In short, an Xbox has more multi-media functionality then a steam deck out of the box, so no. Only by hacking the OS can you restore SOME of the dozen or so key features that a steam deck is missing.
Answer NO it's NOT an X-BOX they are Microsoft products and this is a VALVE product, what your saying is "is my PlayStation 4 an oculus rift?" it makes no sense.
Microsoft have been running adverts where due to the ability to run gamepass, they are referring to other devices as Xbox. E.g. a firestick, a laptop, a pc… so this title is just spoofing that.
The Steam Deck is great and is kinda what Microsoft should have done with the Series S if they were insistent on having two SKUs this gen.
@@Kirii86 I get the idea that we'll see that as a future possibility.

Nice review! I would love to play my steam library natively on a hand held, it's definitely a matter of when I pull the trigger, not if!
@@mkenn10 I'll admit it was privilege that allowed me to try it but now that I have I can't go back. I love it.
AH Yeah you can play Arkham Asylum just played on my Oled cap it on 60 and my setting is High Plays Pretty good looks amazing.

@@DaddyDWALLY haha you know how stressed I was!
Cool series of videos idea! Is the PlayStation Portal an Xbox?
@@saddack if I had one to test I'd like you know. I think it soon will be given what I've heard Xbox is bringing next.
I'm really interested in buying one. The only thing holding me back is anti-cheat games. It really is a deal breaker for me.
And they don't have rocket league on the steam storm.
You can dual boot with windows and rocket league sucks.
Some anti cheat games work. Anti cheats said their willing to work on steam deck if developers allow it.
Arkham Asylum has the GFWL DRM which isn't compatable with Proton, that's why it isn't compatable with Steam Deck
I believe that Indiana Jones saves DO transfer SteamXbox, I heard it talked about on Xbox Era (iirc).

@@Chaialenoryeah except a steam deck quite literally can’t run gamepass. You can cloud stream but everything can so it’s just silly.
Considering that it runs cloud, which is all the firestick can do, it’s as much an Xbox as that is
Are people dumb or just trolling stop calling this plastic piece of shit a console, it’s a damn pc
