UPDATE: April 1, 2024 - The VET TEC pilot program has ENDED. It's possible it will be brought back in the future if funding is secured but unfortunately, as of now, the program is over. Check out the rest of my VET TEC videos: ua-cam.com/play/PLDdbvf077NKz9m1TpKKR6tyLw2GHCzenu.html
bummer that VET TEC has ended; unaware & missed the deadline; would like to refresh my skills in AI, machine learning, Python, Swift, etc. Do you think it's possible to get training through the VA's Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) (Chapter 31) - "Employment Through Long-Term Services " Track?
I just got approved for VET TEC. However, I just graduated from a tech school revolving around CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+ using GI Bill. If I go into this vet tec thing, like upon graduation, what happens if I don't get a job within 6 months and what happens to the school? Do they get paid the remainder of the 50%? Ty
Congrats on getting approved! I believe that is correct - or at least was when I went through - that the school doesn’t receive the last 50% of your tuition until and unless you get a job within a certain period of time.
There is a VET TEC newsletter you can subscribe to. I couldn’t find where to subscribe to it otherwise I’d link it here. They email about two weeks though so if and when funding comes back, that’d be the first way I find out.

Are we allowed to go through Vet Tech if we only need the skills and not the job search after??
Unfortunately, VETTEC has been discontinued. But yes, when it was going on, there was no requirement that you had to search for jobs after.
is this still available?
Sorry to say, no, it's not. VETTEC has been discontinued as of April 1, 2024. No word on if/when it'll get funding again.
@@rosszeiger FUCK
They're not funding it anymore unfortunately
Is that permanently or just for this fiscal year?
@@rosszeiger supposedly, it should be getting funded again sometime this year
JTAC?
My MOS? No, Air Support Control
How do we get updates for this when it gets funded again? If it does that is
