You know, not enough people give credit to the high degree of accuracy that this series has in animating the little cat behaviors that other cartoons wouldn't bother with. Everything from how the tail twitches when the cat is angry, to how they fight, to how they play, their body language, etc. is portrayed in a way that makes me as a cat owner go "yes!!! That's EXACTLY what my cat does!"

I especially like how the big one is about to strike the little one but hesitates and gives him a little tap instead. My cats used to do that a lot. My big one was always pretty gentle with our smaller one.
Is the kind od detail you only get if you expend a lot of time watching your cat.. and can do animation.
That was my exact thought!! I stumbled across this video since I haven’t seen any of Simon’s cat videos in years!! I was definitely not disappointed in what i saw! It’s genuinely adorable & fun to analyze how they included all the cats mannerisms & micro- aggression/expressions! Made this video much more enjoyable (as a cat owner & fostering 🐱 mother) it made me giggle 😂
All except for pointing a toe at their open mouth. It is a cute gesture though.

I'm 26 years old, and I will probably never grow tired of watching this. The animation is impeccable, and the kitten is so cute.

This is so stinking cute. There's not even a word to describe this level of cuteness. The detail is always so accurate. In the first clip, the white cat had his tail flicking back and forth when defending the food. Exactly what my cats do with that little tail flick.
As a 9 cat household, I see so much of this on a daily basis It's nice to watch it in cartoon form 🥰

So many great details: Simon's cat understands physics (gets all worried when he thinks the gnome is going to fall over). Can grasp pillows (and baseball bats) and swing them like champs. Has no guile, points to the fish and bird and indicates that he's hungry. Kitten gets upset but only for a moment (and is way smarter than Simon's cat). Excellent, love it ❤
As a cat owner since 1968, every bit of this is so accurate!
The best part about Simon's cat is that the kitten never grows old. : ) ♥

Kitten manages to get a surprising amount of menace into his little ‘mew!!’ when standing up to neighbour cat on the fence!
The part where the white cat dumps the vase of flowers and water onto the kitten and then kicks the fruit bowl over was the best 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love how only one corner of the couch is scratched because this is 100% what cats will do. Pick a corner and reuse/re-mark it as a scratching post!

A few years ago, I played a Simon's Cat video for a little girl who loves cartoons & kitties and her doting Grandfather who's almost deaf. They sat & watched Simon's Cat together all afternoon and it was beautiful. Love love love Simon's Cat!! Thank You! ❤🤗😸

Simon's Cat and Kitten remind me of my own two cats. They are brother and sister, two litters apart. My older one is an orange male that just wants to nap, eat, and mind his own business. My younger one is a gray female thats very curious about everything, gets into trouble, and still likes to play even though she's not a kitten anymore. When I first got my little girl, she always wanted to be by her big brother.. but he just wasn't having it lol. They've grown to love eachother over the years but this video reminds me of when they were little. Thank you for this ♥️
