- Ever since launching its attack on Ukraine in 2022, Russia has been hit with heavy western sanctions against its banks and its vital energy sector. It s maritime trade, which the majority travels through NATO controlled waters, has also been severely affected. But Moscow is now looking to lessen risks at sea, with new trade routes it’s planning to launch between Europe and Asia. This also comes at a time when turmoil in the Middle East is disrupting global trade.
The shipping and rail networks could link the European part of Russia to India via Iran, while also bringing it closer to its main trade partners in the Asia Pacific. While Moscow says it's ready to invest more than 25 billion dollars to modernise the International North South Transportation Corridor, it also wants to upgrade facilities on its Arctic shoreline to make the Northern Sea Route more attractive. Last year, the Kremlin also issued a 1.4 billion dollar loan to Iran as a way to expand a rail link which will allow its cargo supplies from St. Petersburg to reach the Gulf. Reports say, the routes could cut at least 30 percent of transit times compared to travelling via the Suez Canal, which has been plagued by Houthi rebel attacks in the Red Sea.

seemed to drive inflation up in G-7 Nations from 2015 on.
The US Politicians and Economists who use the term "Supply Chain",
appear to refer to their former Colonies,
who now seem to trade with their Peers?

Russia is an exporter of energy (oil and gas), minerals (titanium and uranium) that US imports, and food. how can you weaken sanctions when US doesn't abide by its own sanctions.
US actually buys oil and gas and then resell to EU.
There is no doubt that Russia has plenty of volumes but to ensure the success of this link, there must be reasonable volume in the back haul; otherwise it is going to be more than tough to keep the link going.

The US Gas Providers appear to have a surplus of Natural Gas from Fracking.
They had no available markets that could be delivered to.
The forced sale to European Consumers, looks like their solution?
In 2021 the US struggled to sell 20% of European Gas consumption.
Now that "someone" blew up Nordstream,
they supply 40%.
Russia was supporting Europe with affordable Gas,
the USA was unable to compete.
The economic facts appear to speak for themself?
Nordstream did not have a Backhaul.
It did have the potential to support close to 70%
of European Demand for Fuel.

A Baltic/White Sea Canal (rebuild) project should be top priority because this project doesn't just help Russia, but it changes the entire worlds logistic network, instantly becoming one of the most important logistic points on earth, and makes developing on the Arctic coast far more viable.

The US, by cutting off cheap Russian gas and other ressources, has not sanctioned Russia, but Germany, who was getting too strong for US comfort.

Russian response to NATO Threats after spring demonstrations of NATO Offense in Eastern Europe in 2021, seem appropriate after we consider the fact that the G-7 has squandered their resources in search for profits, that leave them desiring what Russia owns.
The understanding that Western Money was not allowed to buy Russian Assets in a quantity large enough to make the Western Buyers into Majority Investors,
appears to have led to investment in offensive weapons that enable the G-7 Nations to take resources from any Nation they desire.
If you apply that understanding of economic developments since the 1980's,
you begin to notice the development of an offensive effort by the USA to take what they want?

Russia can build a neacler powered cargo submarines to export goods and services to other countries instead of the ice breakers clearing the ice before another ship carrying the cargos will be a double effort which achieves the same results or building a catamaran ice breakers ships which can break or cut the ice for a larger cargo ships to sail through. Russia never launched an attack on ukraine. Russia Joined the war in what was then Eastern Ukraine, that ukraine started. Today 5 regions of ukraine have held referendums to split from the self described nazi government in kiev and to rejoin the Russian Federation. Soon more territories will hold referendums to Join the Russian Federation and they will undoubtedly be successful.
