Bro while I have mad respect for your body of work in the barbering industry, I think you videos just show too much bias … I think you did the vapors wrong …. In my humble opinion I think you could have handled the vapors better !!! You just show too much bias
Really starting to see the bias. When your stripped down the Vapors and compared it to the dog version you have yet to do that with other manufacturer clippers. I know for a fact many clippers across different models use the same interior parts. In this particular video, the left side of the clients hair is a different pattern and density as compared to the right. Do us a favor and cut that same client again in a few weeks using the same tools on opposite sides. I’m going to buy the Vapors just to see how they truly cut.
Your videos are fire. Thank you for all your help! I just recently finished Barber College and started in a shop and the information you put out is needed.
Pretty insecure comments from a petty young viewer. Thanks for the engagement maybe you could show the world how great you are one day and i would give you a thumbs up.
Can you help me with a recommendation for my next clipper? I’m a new barber been cutting for 6 months and I love the wahl seniors everything about the fade blade and how much they weight in my hands 🙌🏾 For me they are perfect! but the battery life on them is 45 minutes I’m in the market for new clippers what would u recommend? I’ve watched too many videos and I’m kind of conflicted 😐
Ok how about JRL onyx vs the gold fx one? I just sold my metal instincts and I’ve used both those clippers I mentioned but can’t remember which one I liked more 😂
@ thanks so much for replying. Im wanting to learn to start cutting my own hair, any recommendations? And that babyliss ur using would that be a good one for self cutting? Sorry if my questions sound dumb but im trying to learn. Thank you
Great review, for me babyliss and sc is the perfect duo. The lo pro fx one is quiet and powerful but i love the ergonomic for the thin blade and great fading capabilities 👌
I got the same fx one you got but the black version it comes with the black MIM blade and it cuts just like how you demonstrated on the video and the blend comes out so clean.
@@MrJwyne I been using the stylcraft tight guards. I like those because you can zero gap the clipper and no vibration they also as good as the wahl guards and andis guards in my opinion. Definitey babyliss fx one, good review. I would like to see some video with tips and tricks on getting the blend right between open taper and number 1 lines, not sure why I'm struggling with this part and loosing a lot of time, also somehow raising the line a bit, most of the time, when got to half guard to erase that line. Im using jrl onyx, but definitely the problem is on user level :) Thanks Eddie, and again great job mate! Keep up the good work!
@@UA-camBarberAcademy idk what it is but I just bought the saber 2 and just started trying the tight guards I only used the half but I didn't like how the hair was feeding in them I noticed a big difference from Wahl to sc tight guards
I never use the Vapor but basically I own every clipper for other brands and I think that the problem is the Stylecraft magnetic tight guards! I hate those guards because I feel that they pull hair no matter the clipper that I use!
Cant say i have ever had that issue, i have like 50+ videos showing them work just fine. I will say the half guard is not great with a taper blade tho but i mostly use a faper blade.
They do heat up mad quick but I do love the way their blade fades! I feel like when I fade with it just cleans the cut very well when fading too sad that heats up crazy if they fix that and put some charging stand this could be a mayor clipper 😅

I have a bone to pick with them too but it just feels like you botched it purposely.
What is so hard to understand? I showed 1 haircut in this video but i have used both machines extensively. I could care less which one wins just flat out the Babyliss is better. It might upset some of the Wahl fan boys but this their "new" clipper was made in china like everything else and its not great.
