Could you explain damage %
I've had runs where I had a high number,but didn't seem to really affect my out put
The meele/ranged/elemental damage is multiplied by the %damage. Also other damaging effects like alien eyes etc are also multiplied by %damage. So if you have 0 meele damage only the normal damage of the weapon is multiplied
The damage done is % damage multiplied by flat damage and attack speed. You want all three to go up equally. Having too much of one will result in diminishing returns
Like the others said, having 100% damage increase when your attack does 2 base damage still results in only 4 damage per attack. Same goes if you have 100% crit rate, you’re still only doing tiny damage. This is why it’s important to spread your multiplicative damage amps

I finally finished d5 with king a few days ago as im goint thru and beating all on d5. I got an anvil as my item from my lvl 12 elite lol made it quite easy to finish the rest
Kind of funny I was playing the King this morning, but I was using more the sword and board build, but it might be interesting to use lances instead.

Unrelated to this run but I finally got danger 5 with Artificer with an epic nonbo that i thought was going to end the run, I took Triangle of power and a couple of levels later I got Bloody hand and somehow eeked out a win while actually killing the last two bosses. It has taken me so many tries with that class, its a shame to because big explosion is fun but no armor is not. Got 8 left wonder which one to tackle next.

Thanks so much for the support! It really has been wild seeing the incredible growth. I haven't done a beginner's guide for BG3 exactly, though I am doing a curated playthrough (under the "honor mode dark urge warlock" playlist) and have done a ton of simple build guides for each class, so those might be good places to start. Honestly my advice would be to just dive in and discover stuff and then check the guides for extra help/context - one of the great things about the game is how open-ended it is.

Well, now that you bring it up. Usually I am saying to myself "shut the fk up and play". Once you have seen a couple of these you hear the same mini speeches every time an item is hovered over. The debate of the snake item at the end going into wave 20 when it does not matter at all is a slightly over exaggerated example but one nonetheless. However, once I saw you buy the bait and the weird ghost I actually just looked at how long the vid had left instead of really saying anything to myself.
