- The Ghost is one of the hardest classes in the game, and we rolled one of the worst weapons. But can we turn it into a maximum damage killing machine?

Thanks very much! Honestly, I very rarely died when making the guides - I've played a LOT of this game and games in the genre. The challenge runs and random random runs I do die on pretty regularly though, so if you want to see me losing those are the place to check!

by the way i think it's actually quite on point to say that you're avoiding/evading enemies when you're moving and you're dodging enemies when the stat procs :)

I simply love all the ethereal weapon. I one shot danger 5 ghost. Stacking stats by killing minions is purely fun. Also, maybe range can be a more viable stats with that much attack speed.
I think Doge is one of the best defensive stats because it's self-synergizing. Going from 10% doge to 20% doge isn’t nearly as good as going from 80% dodge to 90% doge. As long as you have enough HP to let the law of averages kick in, you halve the damage you take with a 10% change in stats. If dodge was uncapped, every single game would be a race to 100 dodge
The only reason its not super OP is because doge dosen't trigger invincibility frames. Many small attacks will disproportionately more damage than a couple of large attacks that would otherwise have the same DPS.
However, there are some absolutely spankin' artifacts that work with dodge. Ropose, of course, but with 90% dodge and adrenaline, any attack no less then 22 damage heals you on average. This actually makes healing EXTREMELY scaleing. Instead of "How many hit is kill", you're essentially asking the chances a biased random walk dips below a certian point. Doubling your HP roughly quadruples your odds to surviving each round, which is insane scaling rivaled by only doge itself.
And that's all before other sources of healing. 100% Lifesteal with riptose means each time you dodge, you not only get more healing, but smooth out the randomness. And that's all completely ignoring how attack speed is self-synergizing. Ghost is my top pick for level 5 endless. While DPS can't scale well, waveclear can be easily substituded with piggybank. Ghosts in the ultra late game should probably be played similar to pacifist. It offers one of the few increases to survivability that simply cannot be eventually obtained from items that when combined with an artifact, essentially makes you completely immortal.

Ive been trying to beat the ghost for awhile. I tried your other ghost guide build and just couldn't get there. It was fun but tough. As soon as i tried this build but added two scepters. Easiest run ive ever had. It offered me scythe but i didn't take it. Would you have bought it? I had cap dodge, over 200hp and over 150 atk speed. Plus a ton of speed, like in the 30s

True! It was level 1 though - I just wanted to maximize damage to clear the elite quickly.

@@txczshooter Since levelups are random, it can sometimes make sense to take a higher tier levelup that you need less over a lower tier levelup that you need more, hoping that a few levels later it will be the other way around. The more lopsided your character gets, the less room you have to do that. In this case, he needed HP quite urgently, but still couldn't bring himself to go for a tier 1 boost. I think it was probably the right call but it was risky.
oddly enough i did my own random random a few days ago and got ghost but got the other melee weapon and it ended well lol GG mate

Hey, saw a few of your videos and decided to try out the game. But the game is running at a lower resolution and I cant seem to fix it. Yours looks really clean. My native res is 1080p but the game is running lower. Any idea hwo to fix

I'm so happy uve been on a bit of a brotato kick lately. Lol I don't get y people think ghost and lucky r the hardest in the game. I think they r both super strong characters
They're very much snowball characters, if you get them going they're insane, but if you hit the mid game without having snowballed enough they just lose.

loud one-armed could be decent
run a hatchet, get 60% damage free, +200% attack speed (which the hatchet scales off of slightly)
or ghost one-armed
run scepter, ranged damage gained is doubled (and the base is +10 from the ghost), attack speed is 200% then just farm hp

I can tell u its better to move defensively rather than offensively. Just try and watch as much as u can and make sure to stay away from what u can
Hard to explain everything exactly, but basically I move in circles that stay near the middle of the screen during easier waves and move out to the edges of the screen as more enemies spawn - the goal is to get enemies to stack on top of one another, which makes them easier to dodge and also easier to farm. Hope that helps!
