despite what many people think, growling/screaming does indeed take talent, and switch between that and singing takes even more.
Exactly. I don’t enjoy that music at all but that girl was really good and deserved more turns instead of judges giggling like children.

The dude from Turkey was amazing.
Indeed, not to mention that traditional-ish songs like this have a flow and intonation that is unique to the region. It is by no means easy to go all over a scale like that.
I live in Turkey and believe me, I've been to many parts of the metropolitan city (Istanbul) and there are very few people who still sing folk songs. It's mostly either slow-paced vocals accompanied with Aud or pop music/hip hop in most places

Generally, The Voice Ukraine is one of my favourite The Voice franchises. I watched nearly every audition since the first season and I am a little bit disappointed about the current season. It probably depends on the song selection.

I think we have a similar taste. The most of them are on my list. There are many good singers on this season but I miss some auditions wich blow me completely away. My favourite is No.4 (and No.1) and he is already part of a former compilation, but I like the cover of Vilen Kilchenko (season 6) a little bit more. He set the bar very high. The same with the Rammstein cover. I watched the guy from X-Factor Georgia and his rendition was much more spectacular. No.5 is ok, but this guy (ua-cam.com/video/zKwFZqnSGy0/v-deo.html) did a better job in my opinion.
But as I said, it also depends on the chosen songs, not only the voices.

Don Quichotte it's showbiz , I heard it's not that simple. Contestants don't have the opportunity to choose any song they'd liked to. The last word is with producers. I saw video from a guy who was on UK Voice. He said that pretty much all of it is fake and even the reactions of relatives are filmed separately, before he stept on the stage. That blind auditions are not that blind and there are many actors as viewers.
So for me it is all about the voice and personality ;)

Of course, it's only a casting show and they fake a lot. In some countries thy fake more, in other less. The producers can not use every song they want because of the copyrights and the big record labels want to place special songs on the show. They also often use the same coach reaction for different blind auditions
or they mix two differnent attempts to one blind audition. Here is a funny example (ua-cam.com/video/U7t5I7K_2-c/v-deo.html), take a look at his sleeves, especially at 1:03 min :D
For me it's all about the voice AND the song when I create such a compilation. I can't enjoy a great voice on an unlikable song. Sometimes I can't believe the choices of other compilers but everyone has his own taste. Otherwise the whole world would be very boring.
