I think the daylight savings is a global period of the year where we all kind huddle up into our homes after 5 pm haha! Regarding socializing, it takes time and an attitude to put yourself out there! Part of reconnecting with your culture is allowing yourself to experience it and get involved! In the winters Sarajevo has an active skiing scene in the mountains, top notch hotel resorts, saunas, and parties on the mountains especially during the day! There is something magical with the snow coming down as you’re walking through the crowd and the lights in the surrounding hills! Add the ezan to it and it’s magical:)

Both of you were raised in USA, so socializing in a country like Bosnia will be a bit challenging at first. Keep in mind that USA is a country of immigrants. With that said, it is still difficult for me to have any American friends because of difference in interests and topics of conversation. In countries like Bosnia you will be viewed as a “foreigner” to some extent, especially in the beginning. Also, the constant heat in Florida is the major thing i dislike haha. Wish I had normal 4 seasons here :)
ASA... Thank you for sharing. But I just cannot help but notice it seems like the middle of the day, and your spouse is drinking a huge glass of wine, while holding your child in her arms. I am sorry, I wish I could send this privately. But Its just kind of not very graceful TBH.
I’ve watched several of his videos now. I think the reality is far from what you are presenting in these videos. It’s cool that you are considering moving back and at least trying to live there. I agree with the social lifestyle there and I feel the same but there is so much more to life than that and when you weight the good and bad then Bosnia is not for me at least for now. Maybe when I retire 😊. Good luck guys
No matter where you decide to live, it will always going be about people around you. Yes, our lifestyle counts but the people make our life worth living.

I agree. We’ve spent a few winters up in the mountains already and it’s definitely a good time

It will be hard for your wife to get used to it.Good luck to you both.

The number one rule of gracefulness is not to judge others. 😊
You keep pushing this idea of living in Bosnia and clearly your wife is not into as much as you are.
Honestly I think I am the one that is pushing it the most ☺️ I think as a new mom any new change can sometimes be fearful.
