Thank you for your great, informative vid! It looked like you were wearing water sandals throughout most of it. I was thinking of starting it in my regular hiking shoes... and then changing into my Keens water sandals when I hit the water portion of it. Do you think that's a good plan?
Thank you for posting. We are going in a couple of weeks. How cold is the water? We are taking Neoprene socks but I've seen videos that, that isn't even enough to keep your feet a decent temperature.
This time of year will definitely be chilly. You can stay out of the water for most of the hike but you will be in the water at the end in order to see the falls. My advice would be stay dry for as long as you can. Take hiking poles, when your feet + ankles get cold you loose you balance more easily. I hope you enjoy it!
perfect summer hike
I couldn't agree more!

yes that will work just as good. My husband changed into his sandals once we got to the river. It's a great option! Thanks for watching!
@@trailandtravel thank you! (& thank you for getting back so quickly!!)
@@badkat68 you're welcome! I hope you have a great time.
AMAZIN VIDEO, THANK FOR SHARING. IN WHICH MONTH DID YOU GO?
