Remote Controlled RC Dump Truck from Cardboard - RC Dump Truck || Cardboard Dump Truck

In this video, I will show you how to make a Remote Controlled Dump Truck at home using cardboard and this time with different steering drive method. Since I started making DIY RC cars, I keep looking what is the best method for a steering drive that won't stress out the steering motor as others usually do in their DIY RC projects except for those who are using servo motors as steering drive. So, today I came up using screw to just give the steering motor a wide operating space instead of the old technique that stresses out the motor when you kept pressing the turn right or turn left button to keep the motor turn but actually what happened is that the motor is being locked into a certain angle while the the coil still energized. This way the motor coil is heating, the longer you pressed, the more your stressed the motor.
Well, the advantage for using screw to drive the steering is that it minimizes the motor stress and because you can actually adjust the angle of your turn without always pressing the the turning buttons left or right once you achieve your angle once and it will stay at it in the same position unless you counter it to opposite direction. But it has also setbacks, one is you need to have a motor with high rpm to make it more responsive to your command. But nevertheless, this method reduces the risk of damaging the motor and the control module also at the same time.
So for me, I prefer to use it as it is more safe for the motor and control board. But again you have to use a motor that has an RPM of 500 but less than 1000RPM. A more high RPM motors will not do also as it has less torque.
