Yeah, Rob speaks like he's still processing his initial thoughts, so most of the post-discussion feels like him still trying to form a consistent opinion.
I honestly still think Rob is just trolling most of the time. His reactions to certain characters in their anime reactions just make me have to believe he does it because he wants to be the one getting the hate type attention.
Agree, he’s the typical slow friend of the group, big mouth, L opinions & a brain smooth as butter… he also looks like he’s on the mentally challenged side if you know what I mean but you get used to it. Sometimes you even forget he’s there until he starts barking 🤷♂️
YES!! This is one of my favorite movies, along with Ready or Not, plus Daniel Craig did his damn thing. As a southerner, I completely forgot he was British cause that Kentucky southern drawl was on point 😂👏🏽👏🏽 also RIP Christopher Plummer ♥️♥️♥️
Which one's Rob, the guy on the left? Yeah, he's the reason I'm not subscribed. Most of the time he looks bored as fuck and not at all interested in the show. Why have him on in the first place?
Knives out is really good! I just watched it in high school and I loved it! ☺️👏A really good mystery movie! Thank you for watching! Love your reaction! I was so happy when I saw this👍🤗
32:31 Plus she mentioned they had a secret way of communicating with each other. And in the scene when she's crying in her old room she's holding a pile of letters that have that rose symbol on them and at least one singe mark.
well that certainly sounds like a sure fire way of restricting yourself creatively breaking this "rule" can be a key component to making a more unique, complex or subversive piece of literature but for most conventional projects, one should definitely stick to it
They’re talking abt Chekhov’s Gun. The concept that if a gun is placed on stage then that gun should be used by the end of the show. It’s a very important rule in fiction that prevents plot holes and unsatisfactory endings. “Breaking” that rule is not a key component in complex literature.
It’s kind of funny since Rob kind of understood what the movie was going for and was just not explaining it clearly. It just became awkward because he took up so much of the convo since he was still trying to explain it better (or trying to process his thoughts) and ended up talking over the others too much. It’s still refreshing to see how people interpret the movie differently tho just hope the comments don’t discourage y’all to say your ACTUAL thoughts about a movie.
I've watched you guys before a while back. Now I remember why I stopped. That dude in the monster shirt is a big ass L. Dude is hella annoying and can't seem to enjoy anything. I bet he's real fun at parties (sarcasm obviously).
Ooooh, there is another Daniel Craig movie that no one seems to know about, and its fantastic! Layer Cake! I am positive that you guys would love that one! It has an incredible cast, too. Tom Hardy, Eddie Temple, etc...
As much as I loved this movie, I didn't like that it sorta became obvious who's the killer about halfway through. But Ransom, even for being a self-righteous, privileged, asshole, he was a pretty good killer imo. But I liked Glass Onion more because it had a better mystery.

Classic Rob L
Dude said it was Jamie Lee Curtis from the beginning, then gunna say it "wasn't clever." Rob is a hater.

I feel like the stuff Rob is complaining about is what makes the movie so fun. It's not your traditional murder mystery.

Such a good movie and her having him confess but holding it down before puking on him was so funny, prop knife was icing on top of the cake
Y’all should watch “The Menu”
... Second! I second this!
The Menu goes so hard. And it's so unexpected!
I’ve been really enjoying your movie pick’s lately! Thank you ❤
29:16 First rule of storytelling - in total, not just in detective fiction - nothing is EVER mentioned unless it's going to come back later.

That's not any kind of rule of storytelling, much less the FIRST one.
Y’all HAVE to watch the second one with Janelle Monae!! 😂

Yo if y’all liked this type of mystery movie, y’all should watch the OG movie “Clue” and it’s several endings!
I get what Rob was saying, this movie was much more focused on what really happened rather than the classic whodunit murder mystery
The Director said his inspiration was the idea of what happens when there is a “who done it” mystery but you know who the killer is.
