I believe mothers shouldn't feel guilty about carving out time to put energy back into themselves & feel it's actually necessary ☺ being the best version of me helps me be the best mom to keira, so I am trying to let go of this manufactured form of 'mom guilt' you knowww 💘 the glasses are from bottega!

I went to America with my 5 year old but left my eight month old with my mother and father and my dr said exactly what you are saying the baby prob knows you are not there but the concept of time is different to when they are older.
yesss our babies at this age are so present & immersed in what is happening immediately in front of them - truly in the moment - so they don't have the concept of 'missing' someone quite yet. our didn't facetime or anything like that either, my parents sent us videos of her everyday and she was so happy with them!
