Omg I can relate to having zero fomo lol! That was literally me this year. It was so nice to be bundled up on my couch watching Coachella live on UA-cam 😂 Also - loved the piece about you putting energy back into yourself as a new mom without any guilt because it’s absolutely necessary & you’re so deserving of it ❤
omg I already look back at videos of her from a few months ago and she's grown so much & the time really does fly. this is another reason I love to vlog
Omg, the guys driving in the mud *screaming with you* 😂 I love seeing how you prioritize yourself & your partner as a mom. My husband and I are talking about starting a family soon & you're inspiring me for what's possible with balanced motherhood ❤ #EndtheMomGuilt As always, thanks for sharing!
I literalllyyyyyy thought the car was going to tip over 😂 thank you for your kind words. whenever you choose to start your family - I am already so excited for you because it is the best
I haven't gotten a chance to do them because you can't wear makeup for several days, but I've had to work + be places ye know. I definitely do want to do them soon!
no words have ever been truer 😂 & congrats on 1 month. the first month was a blur for me so I hope you're eating well & hopefully getting some sleep here & there. I napped when she was napping! sending you & your baby lots of love!!
@@ellenvlora Thanks Ellen. Definitely finding it challenging. My little girl loves to be held, so getting things done is a bit tricky. I've enjoyed seeing your journey unfold, as I was starting mine. It has been reassuring and helpful to get your tips and see your transformation into motherhood. You and Kellen are doing a fantastic job.
I believe the women is asked these questions because it’s common knowledge that post partum exists & hormones go crazy after birth. The mom is the one whose body changes & experience the mourning old self more due to what their body just went through .. or other factors. Whereas men just literally show up hahah Unfortunately a lot of men are also not the best with helping - for example I have a friends who gave birth and had harder time bc their men just sucked. So I think naturally we also just ask the mom how she’s doing and balancing with already the mindset that she’s doing 100x more than the guy! Including breast feeding and waking up every 2 hours for it. I could see how the question might also feel insulting though
I totally understand where you're coming from - and in that framework it does totally make sense! and I do feel it's kind that people check in to ask how we're doing, but I want to release the notion of 'mom guilt,' since we shouldn't feel guilty for prioritizing ourselves & our wellbeing at times. and having a supportive partner during postpartum makes a massive difference, so very grateful that kellen was literally my rock 😭
congrats love!! I loved 2nd trimester hehe. & it was a process for me!! I'm now 10 months postpartum, so it definitely did take some time, but I wasn't in a rush to 'bounce back.' my priority was nourishing my body & my baby. I still had on a lot of the weight well into 5 months postpartum, so try not to put pressure on yourself because recovery looks different for everyone!
i think since you barely open your mouth to talk sometimes it happens maybe its just a lazy tongue hahahaha but its very subtle, sometimes its more pronounced 14:32 / 17:03
I tell my mom, "this is your first and only life too"
Lets let mothers live! ❤
THIS!! one more time for the people in the back. I love this so much - I'm going to tell this to my mom 🤧
