Molar conductivity is just conductivity per mole, so you are taking moles to be constant i.e 1 mol and volume to be variable here Whereas specific conductivity is conductivity per unit volume, so you are taking volume to be constant i.e 1m^3 and number of moles to be variable So on increasing concentration: Only number of moles increases for specific conductivity Only volume decreases for molar conductivity(moles of ions remain same) As a result: Conductivity increases for specific conductivity Conductivity decreases for molar conductivity
6:32 sir why are we not stating that volume v must be 1 lit? bcz molar conductivity is conductivity per unit conc. and unit conc. means 1 mol/lit but the conc we have taken is 1/v know sir?
I don’t think he will answer you so i will answer, unit concentration means 1mol/liter yes correct but it turns into a value basically, concentration doesn’t need to be only in one liter, its just a value that you take 1 liter for calculating but concentration itself is not only one liter, it’s basically just a number. Now for calculating molar conductivity its basically conductivity/concentration (just the value number you found, not necessarily one liter) so it’s not compulsory that it needs to be one liter, tell me if still not clear..
excellent explanation, cleared lots of my doubts from the class
wonderful explanantion ! this is called science
THIS IS WHAT I NEED... THANK YOU
Very nice explanation, kudos!
Lovely explanation. Absolutely crystal clear 🙌🏻
FINALLY understood it :) thank you so much
perfection🤩🤩
still, ia m not comfortable with the molar conductivity

Thank you sir❤ from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰❤
