I'm Ndebele. I used to wish good for my country. I learnt Shona, Nambia, Tonga, Kalanga just so as to be bale to relate to many people one day. My good intentions died when I worked at one of ZIm's embassies and was constantly told Ndebele isn't a language in Zim and I was obliged to always speak to all my workmates in Shona. I don't feel bad when I see ZIm rotting. There's a whole lot of brainy people out there who could help zim develop but aren't going to do it because of fears of tribal descrimination.
I think you’re right, to a greater extend selfish people. I work abroad and I can testify discipline is instrumental to the growth of Economies we admire, even if they invest in Zim, it will still benefit a few
I remember going to boarding school at age 12. Secondary school. I moved to a new province. Didn't know a word of Shona and was eager to learn. Two of my teachers (maths and History) disliked me and called me a tribalist. I was only 12 years old. I didn't even know what that meant. I switched schools after only two terms. Those two teachers gave me hell. That was my first experience of hate at age 12.
I am of the opinion that whoever said Ndebele is not a language in Zim was either joking, or had personal issues or was uneducated. I know I know I know that Shona and Ndebele have ALWAYS been regarded as the 2 major vernacular languages. I can understand if the Tongas, Kalangas etc were fighting to be heard because their languages were not taught in schools hence were not examined to make them be included in Educational certificates. That Ndebele is not considered a Zim language is NEWS and should make it to the local papers, Daily, Chronicle, Herald and all the X-Metros!!
The good years in Zim, Zanu in government then mdc tsvangirai chamisa came later and called for sanctions against Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans, we all remember Tsvangirai calling on countrys to cut supply of fuel, electricity, food to Zimbabwe..Today chamisa ccc continues with that notion..
30 years later, we are 60 years behind.
These Zim old videos are gold.
These videos are fun to watch.Keep it up.The Zimbabwe we miss.
The octopus and the rollercoaster were my favourite rides at the Luna Park

@@FactswithYash263 I think it's time all tribes seriously think of coming together and eliminating the differences..Those differences don't belong.
