Anyone else here after reading the book? When Dean Koontz said they butchered the movie and it sucked and he wanted his name off of all of it! Love the book though!
Spoilers: The first 10 mins are freaking cool! with awesome visual effects of Hell. Its a Classic movie but The Writers ruined Dean Koontz story Hideaway. In the book Hatcher is killed in a car wreck then ressurected back to life by a sus doctor. He heals & Hatcher & his wife Lyndsey adopt a 10 year old daughter named Regina who is crippled. Because their son had died of cancer. Hatcher begins to realize he is connected too A demonic serial killer named Vassago who is played by the talented Jeremy Sisto. If writers had left the story intact, we wouldve seen more Jeremy Sisto. This movie has one of the coolest soundtracks in the 90s & some pretty cool special effects in the beginning. Jeremy does an amazing job portraying the demonic killer. It reminds me of Queen of the damned before its time. Very Gothic. What I dont like is how they change the story into another whiney teenage daddys girl who is in need of saving. The original story has so many details that wouldve made this even more awesome. Not the actors fault.
Sisto was supposed to be playing the night stalker Richard Ramirez. I thought that's who he was because his personality is identical to that serial killer. And yes the hell sequence scared the hell out of me its probably my most feared movie scene ever cause hell could be real. Hell was also done well in 'what dreams may come' with Robin Williams
I've never heard of anyone having crushes on either of them. Lol That's cool though, I'm the same way. I don't gravitate towards the typical Hollywood hunk type.

When Vassago said "Jesus" I left the movie theater. That was so incongruous.
