The chart supplement tells you to turn 10° left after takeoff end of either runways for noise abatement. At high density alts I don’t think I’d wanna do it either lol
If coming from the West, rather than flying over the mountains you can sidestep them a little further North and fly over the flat desert then turn back into the valley on the approach. You avoid rough air doing that and can alleviate the houses on the ground of your aircraft noise.
Very nice video! I just found your channel and am really enjoying the style of your flying videos on YT. All the airports I like to go to in the sim on PilotEdge you actually fly into in real life :) Keep up the good work and happy flying! :)
Didn’t give your altitude on those first calls coming into BB. 😺 air speed is king. When it’s windy I usually come in about 5 to 10 knots faster. But that’s me.
@@sqwk2559 You may want to stick to driving cars. Even tho the one in your avatar isn’t yours. Bet you don’t even have a pilots license, probably took a discovery flight and MAYBE a couple lessons and now you think you’re a seasoned pilot with thousands of hours. I have over 5000 hours in tail draggers alone and another 10,000 in more planes than I can name here. You wouldn’t know what half of them were anyway. You better go watch some more videos and keep pretending. 😹
+Noel Jacobs A Delkin "Fat Gecko Co-Pilot" which mounts across the rear windows. It's awkward to setup, but I think it gives the best angle in a 172 without having to permanently mount anything.
does ur suction cup stay stuck to the window in high altitude or do you have to reapply? I am thinking about buying the ram suction cup, the gld39 3d and the ipad mini. thx
It falls off once in a while, but I reapply it once and it stays put.. The GLD39 is kind of expensive for what it is. My iPad mini is a cellular model so it has built-in gps that works great on its own. If you want ADS-B in (or external GPS), something like a Stratux or Flightbox (which is just a already built stratux) would be much cheaper for the same functionality. Have fun!

Oh that's interesting. Yea I've used the adhesive mounts and have left well lets say a permanent scar on the ceiling lining in the cabin lol.
Scary..but you made it.lol

Went to your channel-
“Me flying “ the video shows Zilch and the comments are turned off. 🤣😂🤣 Oh yeah, you’re a pilot! 🤣😂🤣
Why? Everyone says it. He just didn’t say for full stop or which runway.
