    R u using studio version of Davinci? and if so, are there BIG benefits in Fusion in studio version compare to free Davinci?

    • @VeikkaDoesEditing

      Im still using free version which may seem unprofessional, but currently there hasn't been many things calling for the studio version other than auto-captions, magic mask and gpu acceleration. There is also special effects and things of that nature so gonna get it in the near future.

    Awesome video man. 👍 I have been using Resolve for maybe two years now and I like it a lot. Switched from Pr and Ae due to constant bugs and crashes and never looked back. Fusion was the first thing I started learing in Resolve actually because I heard many said it is hard to learn, but it's not. Once you get the basics and how nodes work and their order, you can basically make anything. I make those advanced motion graphics as well. Trying to replicate other creators like Iman, etc..
    There is one thing I still didn't figure out how to make though, and that is how to make a taper dashed line effect with an offset where dashes move when the write on or lenght of polygon mask, paint node or mask paint is at 1. In Ae it is easy.
    Do you maybe know how to make that effect?
    Keep up the good work. Subbed.

    You dont need to keyframe the blend parameter to make media appear at different times. You can adjust node timing in the "Keyframes" menu in the top right. This menu is typically used for adjusting keyframe timing as the name suggests, but it also allows you to set the in and out frame for your nodes.

  • @dammitderrick

    • @VeikkaDoesEditing
      @VeikkaDoesEditing  10 місяців тому +1

      Well in Davinci you have everything laid out in nodes. In AE for example the effects are kind of hidden but here everything take up space pretty much. I also many times copy-pasted a node even tho I could have connected the same node to a different output, just to make it simpler for people who aren't that familiar with fusion.

      Hi, I have i9 9700K, 32GB DDR4 Ram 2400Ghz, 3060 12 Gb and M2 Chip NVMe and it run Davinci 19 very smoothly on 3d work. My processor is 9th gen and your is 12th but change the series because "F" series of processor is a bit old but fine. The 6-core Core i5-12400 and 12400f are competitive with the Ryzen 5 5600 and 5600x. The i5-12600k is even better because it's all core clock frequency is 500MHz higher than the i5-12400, and the 12600k has 4x E-Cores. There is also the Core i5-12600kf which is sometimes $30usd to $40 cheaper than the i5-12600k…. and both perform the same. The only difference is the 12600kf does not have integrated graphics. If you're in budget, then 12700f might be a better option for you if you have no plans of overclocking the CPU. Hope it helps bro :)

      @@Tinhde810 Don't worry about it... even if he has "used it" for 5 years, as he says, there are two considerations that you should keep in mind: The first is that this does not make him a professional in video editing and finishing;
      The second is, even if it is true, 5 years is very little, a period of use that represents almost nothing in the video editing and finishing market...
      And what he said recently only increased the level of nonsense and lack of knowledge on his part...
      Forget the guy, he knows nothing
