I think it was on the way to Flatwoods but it wasn't anywhere near the town so it was kind of weird how it just showed up. I barely got to glipmse the purple head region and its healthbar before it flashed away. It was certainly an interesting experience...

Also if you look at the shape the owl takes in that defensive position, it's the same shape as the "monsters" head. the original witness testimony changed each time she was interviewed and out of all the children only the eldest, I believe her son, was the one who saw it, but his story also changed. Oh and owl eyes shine the same color as this "monster's" eyes.
Its definitely an owl. I think most cryptids sightings are people seeing wildlife of some type and not understanding what they saw. The rest are probably hoaxes. I still find it a lot of fun to think about though. Its interesting how the human brain processes these things.

How about talking about the fact that the Fallout series is being gutted of heavy RPG elements, and if people do not say anything, I think it will turn completely into an action shooter series. Fine if 76 is a "new project", while the games in the future stay with as much RPG depth as games like Fallout New Vegas, but I do not think that is the case.
