I learn so much from how you explain your thinking. That last fight was difficult but the way you talked through it was great. I'm definitely trying to build that sort of situational awareness of what benefits my opponent versus what benefits me.
jakes opinion of the dmr changed real quick 😂😂😂
My opinion was always the same as it is now. The snipers now are less common and harder to use ( I still think they will be very good when people get adjusted to the new drop) but with less snipers theres more room for the dmr to play and be effective. I have been using them all season if I dont find a sniper until I find one.

Everyone says it's good on controller. I play on controller and it's crap still lol. I'll take warforge / snipe or just run a basic shotgun/ smg/ assault riffle. .
I think it feels better than the snipers

I seriously can't wait for the day i get a better PC... I genuinely believe my FPS are what's stopping me from getting good at the game. It's tough playing at 20-30FPS.
what kind of graphics card do you have? my last PC had a 1050 ti and I was still getting 100 fps with my graphics settings turned way down
@@SbassLaser I don't know the specifics, but it's an Intel card. A very old one, which is what i believe to be the reason i get these weird flashing lights in my game, and they make tracking my target much more difficult, mind you. I have a video on my channel, if you'd like to see how i experience the game.

I usually think people are exaggerating when they say their graphics are holding them back but holy crap yours is on another level lol, you would absolutely play much better with a decent pc, your gameplay looks good but those graphics are somethin else @@catlovesdarkness6646

You talked about reloading the Gatekeeper after adding the drum mag or any mod on the bench. I have found that I have to reload any gun I have with a drum any time I set it down, pick up an enemy's weapon with a drum, or use the bench even on a different weapon. Any time you touch a bench or pick up a drum mag weapon, it is missing the extra bullets, it seems. Gotta be a glitch.
I love to see the Frenzy Auto nerfed, should have happened in s1. Reaper Sniper was in a good spot after the first nerf imo.

I gave up using snipers now. I just run ar/gate keeper and utility mobility.
Great inside the mind video as usual Jake! regards your question at the beginning, the Frenzy nerf has rendered the gun pointless in my opinion, and i used it more frequently than the gatekeeper but have now had to hard swap to the gatekeeper. Lost too many fights trying to use the frenzy... sad times :(

Bro this games been out for how long?? And they DONT HAVE CUSTOM CROSSHAIRS?!?!? Only thing making it hard getting into. Ive played with blue/green crosshairs for 10 years and I dont want the sh*t spreading when im not using a reticle. Id prefer a very tiny + or even just a dot sometimes

Yeh I’m taking double heals or double mobility with Shotgun and Rifle before I take a DMR. Then if I get a sniper get a sniper

My preferred sight for the sniper is the holo-13 sight, many people disagree due to whatever downside they think it has but I just have a different opinion than all my friends which is ok like you said❤🎉😊
Yea I like to try to get grim gate as fast as possible. Then run away from the river so that during most of my fights I’ll be the only one with the dashes. Complete advantage on others.
I also like to W-key Zeus medallion for the wombo combo of movement

What u said is so true it’s honestly better to jus get the medallion players out the game as early as possible, cause then I pretty much lose endgame everytime if I don’t. The sniper is still the better option to me cause it’s basically hit scan at mid range.

At this point, Epic should just vault the Reaper and the Frenzy. Both weapons had the dominant spot in the meta, and nerfing them to the point they're useless hurts them more than being removed.
the dmr feels so weird to use, I'm trying to get used to it more since the snipers aren't as common anymore but it feels like i can't hit any of my shots with it especially with the thermal scope
I did win a game last night with the frenzy auto, but I only use it for up close barrel stuffing.
Snipers seem to be hitting me just as easily, although I've been mainly using DMR and hand cannon
Great video! I love these. They always play in when I'm playing and I think, "What would Jake do?" I also like to see that I do what you do - I take a few steps to grab the green water too. I had a win last night that went: 1) keep in zone at the end, 2) get first tags, 3) switch weapons down, while 4) take advantage of terrain. I know where I got all of that! Thank you!

I love this stuff. Its like getting intel from the enemy lol. Also, I prefer the red dot over thermal. The thermal on my game actually doesnt work, it highlights my teammates but not enemies. But my other account does. Strange
Great vid as always pal. The water mythic feels OP since the buff IMO. getting beamed off it and hard to hit back due to the animation making it more difficult to see the person attacking with it. I defo need to get better as not the most skilled player but interested to here what Jake or others think?

I couldn’t disagree more. Nothing is perfect off rip, adjustments always need to be made. Not to mention how the incredibly boring that season would be
@@aandydaviss I'm not saying everything has to be "perfect". They just need to set their parameters BEFORE releasing a new season and then stick with it until the end. It's basically like changing the rules while the game is being played. I don't care, I win matches anyway and I have fun with it.

Question. I know you say that you should land hot to get better but do you mean the hottest drops such as Grim Gate this season, or do you mean POI’s that have action but aren’t packed, example being Fencing Fields?
Dropping hot in really contested areas. It forces you to play differently and prioritize different things.

Really nice game, not too sure if it's shown in recent vids but this one really captured how to handle really hectic situations. I often find myself not always converting the win whenever I am tasked with a situation like you had at the island or end game when you had no heals so mad respect and props for that. Also, did you pass up the sniper on island for the sake of showing off how the dmr is good/just prefer it now, or did you just not notice it was there at the moment?
Yes I was trying to use the DMR for this video I think I may have also passed one up earlier in the match

The sniper is weirder now, i was far and i headshot sniped someone who had the underworld medallions with a Holo sight. Later when I modded with the 2x i completely missed someone in endgame who was standing still because i didn't account for how much more bullet drop there is

Frenzy is nerfed so hard, no need to vault. Why it took this long to do it is a mystery to me.
