@@FlemmingNLarsenwhat do you mean by faster? 😂 the game is gonna be 20 minutes pretty much regardless. Seems more like you just have an issue with playing even part of the game passively and choosing fights carefully. I’ve got 82 wins this season and I almost always land on the outskirts and avoid medallions until late. Over 2,000 kills on the season as well so I’m not just hiding all game and never fighting. Maybe don’t w key everyone and you won’t feel like you need the cerebrus dashes to win

I don’t know what’s up with Fortnite but players definitely get better and better, especially I see a huge difference between chapter 4 when I started play Fortnite & now.
And players skill is going up like every damn season for me even tho I see that I play better and better so it’s even more strange and frustrating

I'm enjoying the season. I've been using the Nemesis or Waterbending if I only run two weapons with a shotgun. If I'm running a DMR or Sniper with a Shotgun I'll use Burst SMG or Warforged.
There's definitely some good options this season. I do find the Airbending annoying though. Only because of people running away or incessantly chasing with it.
That muted weapon glitch wrecks my game every time. It just makes everything feel wrong, plus I tend to realize I need to reload just a little bit later than usual and that's usually enough to get me killed.

Thanks Jake! 🪅👑🪅 This season is okay. I'm ready for it to be over. I would like augments to replace medallions as well as no more bosses. Looking forward to season 3. Thunder burst is my favorite gun of all time. Keep it up boss, great stuff!

@@nick31427 they were fun when there were fun ones but after chapter 4 season 1 theres was maybe 4 augments that were good so you spent 4 years rescrolling to find one that was decent

I've started destroying the supplies outside the bunker I plan to go for if I find it early in the match. Keeps people who 4x it thinking it won't spawn!
Weapon balance is dramatically improved this season. We have a lot more options that balance out.
Great vid as always! The gun audio glitch definitely happens to me, but more with the snipers than the shotgun. I guess it isn't weapon specific?
Agree with the audio glitches this season - they can be really distracting. The worst one is the continual shooting noise, especially with a hired NPC. I've had to dismiss them in some games, as having a continual SMG or AR firing sound following me around is strangely annoying. 😁

Jake you’re not alone! The grenades don’t follow the blue line you see before you throw. You weirdly have to throw them lower!

This season is fun, I just wish they would dial back the zero-point dashes so every match doesn't revolve around Grim Gate or everyone trying to get that medallion from whoever has it.
Fighting in the green water is also insane, makes you feel like you're about to have a stroke.
About the car fight, I've experienced a glitch recently where the first time you hold down exit it doesn't take. You just stay in the car and have to hold down exit again.
having no sound on weapons always throws me, i won't even notice when my character is reloading

W video Jake. I’m enjoying this season more than S1. Feel they could still do a better job of balancing the medallions/boss mythics. I can’t wait for the Avatar mythics to go though. I can use them but just don’t like them. Outside of them I think the loot pool is quite well balanced esp since the Frenzy and sniper nerfs.
I really like this season. The boss fights are super fun. The medallions are worthwhile and varied (Cerberus is only really dangerous in the hands of people who probably would've mopped the floor with me anyway, like you, so I don't think it's too OP). There are actually a lot of good drop spots with the old boss POIs still holding a fair bit of loot. Mobility is really good, though airbending can get a little annoying to fight against... or rather to watch run away from a fight. I only started in C5S2 so not much basis for comparison but this is worlds better.

Not being able to hear yourself shoot sucks. And when you put 5 shots on then reload but go back to the bench like if you forgot to do something you have to reload again. Not good when someone rushes you in the bunker
The gun glitches are very annoying this season, we have the 'no sound', snipers that have a suppressor one shot then not for the next. And the most annoying one is when the shooting sound doesn't stop at all (or at least until you press a few buttons),

The issue with Medallions this season is Cerberus has the best Medallion and Weapon. If Cerberus had the worst weapon( hades harbinger) and that shotgun was where Ares is, it would be a lot more balanced.That, or if all 4 of the medallions had the same effect whether that is dashes or heals like the previous season. More medallions, the faster you get the dashes back. That would have worked a lot better.
I think this is probably a top 3 season for me. Been playing since C2S3. Great balance. Good Map.
If there ever was a case for not using the thermal scope on a sniper, this video is it.
In all seriousness, this season is broken because of the water bending and the bugs seem to be more prevalent.
Yeah, my weapons have recently started to go silent. Probably related to the sniper issue where a silenced sniper occasionally sounds unsilenced. I don't know i the sniper issue is noticeable by others. I'm surprised that I like the season so much, definitely higher tier. The mythics aren't so op. Yes, the Cerberus medallion leans that way, but I don't find it constantly being an issue. I do wish they would deal with the Hammer though.

@evolvejake, I took advantage of the deal and got my fourth Aim Controller. I got the one I ordered with hall sticks in and I cannot tell the difference and did not change my sensitivity. Obviously I do not have as a sophisticated sense of feel as you, but it was huge for me that they did not feel weird. I actually called them to confirm they completed the order correctly.
In case this isnt clear, I am giving the hall sticks a positive review bc I am very happy with the feel of both styles of controllers and only time will tell if the hall sticks prevent stick drift.

12:35 Allow mini pots and bandages to fill you all the way up to make them relevant. Maybe give you less of them per stack.
Have you tested the laser on the shotgun? I like to imagine it helps but it also feels like a placebo.

at 18:40 I hate the muzzle on a shotgun cause it makes me double guess if I actually shot it, so i don't like the attachment that muffles the shots

Hi evolve jake i am watchin ur tip for controller players and i hve a regualr xbox controller but i hve on were i only press RB to swtich and i like a lot now do u think i can still become better with dis setting or do u think the setting is okay im just curios but i like hveing it on now even i did play fort at the begin i stop when the took double pump out but i been playin again sent the hammer that was a movement abilte but didnt start playin until the sword i forgot what it call but ya i really like the RB setting to switch bc like i cod i play Tactical not normal setting on mw3 but on the some new cods there was a thing call Bumper jumper tactical. So i used that but on fortnite i couldnt bc is was only RB n LB to swtich n then i try the setting when it came out n i really like what do u think of it

This season 5 ch 1/2 are my favorite besides last season. Could do without the sniper which is OP. Most my end games im facing a sniper. Brawler/classy are my fav poi.

My guns have been going silent a lot. Sounds dumb but I like to hear the firing when I’m trying to aim.
I love your content but what do I do to player that plays in a fast pace. I can't move or think that fast to make a play so how can a person slow down the tempo to match my style. You have very fast movement and reaction time and I see that my problem. Also your a controller player like myself and I want to get better in the game

My thoughts of chapter 5 season 2 is a lot higher than 1, but I think the medallions are just a much poorer version of the most wanted event. I never played that season(started Ch4.S3) but I’ve watched your videos of it and it seems way more balanced and rewarding system compared to the medallion system. It seemed to reward being active without having to land at the same spot or having the same loot paths.
Also my opinion of this season has went down since the avatar update. The airbending mythic isn’t OP, but it just lets people stay in the animation way too long imo. I also still think the game would just play way better without snipers being meta, but I won’t get into that because it’s been talked about to death haha.
The game should have infinite sprint and they should remove every gap closer, it's just annoying when people can fly away 200 meters in 1 second.
If Jake had a dollar for everytime a fan posted they were ready for (insert season here) to be over, he could retire. Let's look at this way, the reaper and frenzy have been nerfed and the riot shield is gone. Huge improvement in my book.
Hello Jake! Can you please do a video on how to counter the waterbending?
I don’t really feel there is a counter to it outside of just outplaying the player. It’s basically an insane AR/burst smg hybrid. Sniping the player is decent because it’s harder to aim long distances with it, but it’s definitely still deadly at range since they can put out so many shots so quick. I think the worst range to fight against it is medium close range, too far to get great shotgun damage. I think in that range you either want to get into barrel stuffing range and gatekeeper them, or use mobility to get away. The deciding factor being if you’ve got some good damage on them first without you taking a ton of damage (if you have drum mag on your gate keeper maybe it’s a bit easier to 50/50). Fighting that range AR vs water bending, AR is probably gonna lose.

I think I will make one about the avatar items in general but the water doesnt really have a direct counter imo cause its most like a regular weapon like its really not that different than playing against a really good burst ar. Its really good dont get me wrong but yea I dont play any different vs it than I would any other ar
Agree with everyone, run or shock and shotgun, playing head on with its rough. I slept on it for a while but now I subscribe to the if you can't beat them join them mentality, having said that it has lead me to trading more often.
@EvolveJake why do you prefer g wagon over the others
More hp, better cover, and handles better off road. The gas usually lasts longer as well. The main benefit of the other car is that it's a bit faster even without the burst of speed you can use. So if you're in a hurry that car would be better. For most situations the g wagon is better and is also better for teams since you can have more players inside it.
I had similar audio issues yesterday. It kind of throws you off a bit.

Oh yeah gun audio not working is insanely disorienting. It's crazy how much you rely on audio for your shooting rhythm and how much it throws you off when it breaks. (when I used to play Paladins I literally couldn't play with some skins cause the sound effects would completely throw me off and confuse me)

Been loving this season but I’m so excited for the avatar mythics to be gone forever
This chapter is pretty good however i'm already tired of all the PIOS. I'm not only tired of them but also I really like like 2 of them. I loved chapter 3 season 3, idk, maybe it's a nostalgia but that map was so freaking good, loved a lot of PIOs. Hell, even chapter 4 PIOS were much better than chapter 5's. Idk if it's the fact that i'm kinda tired halfaway trough but i'd say this map has got me so bored already man...
