You're doing a great job with Alphi no question. Mine accepted when he was a chick and I stopped putting it on due to lack of time for months and he forgot, so now I struggle... Start all over, I'd apply your advice
I cant believe Ive never heard of you. Youre super underrated and I am going to try these tips on my green cheek. Hes 6 and I got him when he was 5 so he hasnt had any expirience with a harness
I have a 8 month old double yellow head im trying to train. Been a week now i feeling she not going to like it im still working with her. I just feel im not doing it rite. But im not giving up
Omg i am the first comment!! Yay!! Just wanted to say i love your videos, and i am about to get a senegal parrot. I wanted to know if yours is cuddly or loyal to you?
Yassss! Thank you for the support!! Means a lot! My Sennie likes my gf more because he doesn’t see her all day but he is cuddly with me and always wants scratches (lubbies) haha 🦜 when you develop a good relationship they tend to want to open up and everyday I’m grateful to have such a good bird like Elfie but it’s a fine line between boundaries and them knowing how to get to you so they get what they want lol
@@parrotsco.3224 Omg thank you for replying! This is actually the first time someone replied me... One of the main thing i worry about for a senegal is i heard that some of them tend to choose a gender like Elfie like women more. And i will definitely felt so happy and lucky if i have a bird like yours!
@@nannan4726 I'm sure naturally whoever handles them more they will tend to like a bit more. I would focus on socializing your parrot around others so they don't become a one person bird. When I have visitors I have them give Elfie treats/do tricks so he understands strangers are friendly and they give you snacks haha
U said that baby parrots are forgiving or wtver. So is it ok if I force her/him harness on her/him? We got a family trip and we'll be gone for a few days, there's no one to take care of her, so ye i need her to come
Hi, love watching your video's. I've been working on harness for a few mnths now, everytime i try to tighten it, he gets so stressed that he flips upside down and freezes. He's 8mnths now. Im worried its stressing him too much. Thank you xxx
I would start as soon as possible, part of getting your parrot to be more comfortable is exposing it to new environments, sights, sounds etc. Usually a baby bird will be more accepting of a harness

Do you happen to have the Amazon link to your specific harness?
You can look it up with the phrase "aviator parrot harness" thats how I found mine originally.
How long did it take you to train your bird to be harness trained
It took a while because he was so scared of the world lol. About 1-2 months with consistency 3-4 times per week 5-7 min sessions
at what age should i start harness training my bird?

@@parrotsco.3224 alright thanks!💕 also i love your videos!!
