      THANK YOU!! I really appreciate that you notice that... I am tired of the crazy wild bucking style of 'breaking' a horse. It should be fun and easy for both horse and rider. I want my horses to be confident and comfortable. I NEVER want them to buck. I am so glad you enjoy this video and more training video coming soon ☺️☺️

    Why do you have to have Spurs

    • @cnahorses
      @cnahorses  2 роки тому +3

      I actually took my spurs off for this first ride, and I won’t use them until about ride 3 or 4… but in general spurs are just a tool I can use as an extension of my foot. Ideally I want my horses just to move from calf or leg pressure but sometimes I need more leverage. Especially since I’m on the shorter side my legs can’t reach as many places. I will try to make a video soon explaining it better and in more detail 😀

    Congratulations on your first ride on Penny! She is so amazing to watch as you progress in her training. You and Cisco make a great team and I'm sure that any horse you train will be incredible. Your patience with the animal, along with relaxed control is key to your success. You don't need to strong arm the horse unless they get out of hand. Anyone who is lucky enough to buy Penny will have an incredible riding partner. I can't wait to see your next moves.

    Down a ways in the comments someone asked about spurs.
    You said you are going to do a video on them as a tool.
    This would be a great video as I feel a lot of riders don't understand the finesse of using them.

    • @cnahorses
      @cnahorses  2 роки тому

      Hi Kim! Thank you for watching my training videos and I appreciate the feedback and support ☺️ I did not develop this 'method' but I do but new twists on techniques that I learn. I have been able to be around several horse trainers and learn from some of the best. I really look up to and follow Clinton Anderson methods ☺️

    _"Back out of coma!! After this terrible accident. It's a miracle! What happened?"_
    Yvonne, who loves, raises and manages Friesian Horses in Fresia (in Europe), suffered a severe accident (I know no details) but today (August 22, 2022) she, her family and friends show us how she has been recovering. English subtitles are provided. We see the Foal "Spidey", baby of one of two ponies (one of Yvonne's sons is a big Spider-Man fan). We can see some of the green landscape the horses enjoy. Many videos made over the last 2-3 years show us these big (adult) horses. So check out the story at:
    ua-cam.com/video/FIthggt6C3s/v-deo.html Also see: ua-cam.com/video/ktIYrZn7Y9k/v-deo.html
    Yvonne actually looks a bit like Amry, though both women train and ride horses in completely different styles (Rodeo v. English).
