Love your Videos so much because youre work with Horses is slowly and with much Love for Horses. Anything what you do is groundet of Respekt for this wonderful Animals.
Well done, Amry. Glad to see someone explain the real use and value of a round pen. Round pens have 100 times more value than simply riding around in circles. Well done!
Love the general training I think it's so much better keeps them from being wanting to get wild and buck and act crazy when you just gentle them like that I know ours were like that and they never did try and back I really enjoyed watching you you're good and articulate explain everything as you go along very enjoyable thank you so much for your time and trouble love the videos
THANK YOU!! I really appreciate that you notice that... I am tired of the crazy wild bucking style of 'breaking' a horse. It should be fun and easy for both horse and rider. I want my horses to be confident and comfortable. I NEVER want them to buck. I am so glad you enjoy this video and more training video coming soon ☺️☺️
I actually took my spurs off for this first ride, and I won’t use them until about ride 3 or 4… but in general spurs are just a tool I can use as an extension of my foot. Ideally I want my horses just to move from calf or leg pressure but sometimes I need more leverage. Especially since I’m on the shorter side my legs can’t reach as many places. I will try to make a video soon explaining it better and in more detail 😀
Congratulations on your first ride on Penny! She is so amazing to watch as you progress in her training. You and Cisco make a great team and I'm sure that any horse you train will be incredible. Your patience with the animal, along with relaxed control is key to your success. You don't need to strong arm the horse unless they get out of hand. Anyone who is lucky enough to buy Penny will have an incredible riding partner. I can't wait to see your next moves.
Down a ways in the comments someone asked about spurs. You said you are going to do a video on them as a tool. This would be a great video as I feel a lot of riders don't understand the finesse of using them.
That is a great idea! You have a good point, I think more people need to understand the reason and purpose for spurs. Thank you!! .... stay tuned for a spur video!
With all that's contained in your busy life, I'm so grateful that you've taken some of your precious time to record and edit these important steps in training a young horse. Thank you so much, Amry. With your extraordinary patience and expertise, you make Penny look like a 'whiz-kid'!
I not no horse trainer by no means but have been watching training videos lot's of different training videos. I've never seen anyone do this technique but makes lots off seance. d Did you learn this or did you develop it or did you learn it ?? Either way you're amazing.
Hi Kim! Thank you for watching my training videos and I appreciate the feedback and support ☺️ I did not develop this 'method' but I do but new twists on techniques that I learn. I have been able to be around several horse trainers and learn from some of the best. I really look up to and follow Clinton Anderson methods ☺️
@@cnahorses you have a very gentle touch and the horses seem to want to learn from you and let's face it a horse is a big very big and powerful animal and you're really not going to make them do anything they're not willing to do I think all animals respond better to gentle with lots of consistency
Awesome...you guys make a great team! Well done young lady, you have found your calling training horses to understand what is asked of them, and see when it twigs in their brain what you want!!
Thank you so so much! All I ever wanted to do as a kid was ride horses, I am so grateful to be living my dream. And thank you so much for the support ☺️

Awesome video. I liked your helpful hint at the end when Penny was tired and resting to work with her feet. What a good idea 👍
Thank you so much, I am glad you enjoyed it ☺️ I love working with their feet when they are already in the right state of mind ☺️
That was about as smooth as expected lol.
A sigh of relief ha! But happy that all the steps came together and we had a successful first ride!
She's coming along nicely! So proud of her! Btw, did Fred show up?
