- Save $1000 on your next Disneyland trip: goo.gl/K7MoR1. This video is the full ride of the Jungle Cruise ride at Disneyland in California. The skipper, Jungle Joel, was so funny (make sure to watch past the first couple of minutes)! Even though our family has been on this ride many many times, he made it so fun and much more interesting. Make sure you watch until the very end when he sings happy birthday to my son and the others on the boat who are celebrating a birthday that day.

My fave jungle cruise joke has to be, "When you exit the boat, please watch your head and step. If you happen to miss the step and hit your head, please watch your language, there's kids present."
Ha! That's a great one!
XD my favourite one is “oh no it looks like the hippos are attacking the boat I’ll scare them off the same way I scared of my last relation ship! I LOVE YOU!”
_"and that's a dead zebra, welcome to the Happiest Place on Earth"_
*sides are in orbit*
My jungle cruise experience.
*"Don't worry folks I'll scare them away like my ex girlfriend- I LOVE YOU"*
Mine too!
Same
Haha! I loved that one!
My favorite joke on the jungle cruise was "you see that over there?" "Ya empty...kind of like my 18th birthday party"
Finally someone who makes a dead zebra joke instead of making the SAME passed down idea of "the zebra is sleeping". That dark humor is awesome!
That is soooo true. This guy was awesome. I asked about him last time we went to Disneyland and he is no longer working there. Boo.
If you guys want to know, it's best to go on the jungle cruise at night. The jokes get funnier for the adults at that time.
Possibly because someone found out he was going off script. Posting a video like this doesn't help him. It could also be he just moved on and has a job that pays a decent wage now.
@Diego the jokes get better after the plain-clothes managers leave the park. Nights are usually a safe bet. Take a ride during the fireworks or Fantasmic and that's when things get really funny.
Rachel Meyers That just means his Acting career finally took off. Next time ask for Skipper Dan.....he’s still there........stiiiiiiiiilllllll there.
5:13 "He's not even touching that thing"
That's my kind of humor!
he is like the best skipper ever on the jungle cruise. he is so good at his job and made me laugh
We had a skipper named camella today and she was so funny and awesome, I really wanna go back and see her again
Look they'res a dead zebra welcome to the happiest place on earth :)
Haha yep 😁
Oh man! I've always thought that these jokes were super lame & super hilarious, but this guy is the best!!! :)
He was so much better than the other ones. I have been a couple times since I took this video, and it's just not the same. Apparently he doesn't work at Disneyland anymore, I asked when we went in February... boo...
This guy is THE BEST!!!!
I remember the jungle cruise from Disney world when I was a kid in the 1980's. It was fun. I miss going to the park and I've always wanted to visit Disneyland!
Me too! It's nostalgic for me
I enjoyed him a lot 😁
This is such and excellent addition to the experience! :D
For old movie buffs: at 4:25 the sounds of giant ants from "Them!"
This guy is awesome!
I like this guy
Hey thanks, I like your Penguin-tastic name!
This makes me ponder, how much are the ride attendants allowed to improvise during shows? Clearly they have a script but in many of these videos they add a bit of their own flair so some hamming it up is allowed?
You aren't allowed to go off script. If a manager rode this boat this guy would get in trouble for his off-script jokes (especially the ones that are anachronistic because it kills the magic/fantasy).
Jack Agopian
I think that one was approved
@@jackagopian5349always someone who wants to be a buzzkill makes me wonder if you're a CM who brags about following the rules of a company that doesn't care about CMs
Maynard has always been my favorite skipper
Holy rock puns!
Gratitude on point
Hey that's me :)
Really? You're Jungle Joe?
Positively Mommy Actually this is me :) sorry I was on my friends phone. Jungle Joel at your service
Joel Navarro
Every time I go back to Disneyland I hope we get you as our skipper again, no luck as of yet. You seriously are the best!
Joel Navarro do you work there still??? because i will make a special trip to Disneyland just for you to be our Safari Guide!!!! :)
Joel Navarro MARBLEous rock puns!!
He sounds like lolitsalex! 😂
The people in this ride kinda didn’t pass the vibe check at first, they got a lil better later but like, this man is hilarious
That was the best! Actually funny jokes!
X3
He’s so funny- what happened to the ships roof.....
Oh, I would say I will look for this guy when I go there, but he is at Disneyland not Disney World, right? Bummer !
He sounds like lol it’s Alex!
the Mother-in-law elephant joke is getting old...
That skipper needs to get new NFL jokes
That blonde at 2:02 is CUTE !!!!!!!!!!!!
Bruce Forrest in
As a Seahawks fan I am offended
if i worked there id say where can you see lions? only in kenya. but we're in africa so they shouldnt be here. lol
I went on the cruise when it was new. Baby crocodiles, real ones, were in little boxes of water near the entrance in the que. I was 3 years old and I thought all the animals were real on the first ride. When the captain shot the hippo I jumped up like a jack-in-the-box. I was awesome. Until they changed the ride into a long string of jokes instead of scares.
I mean the jungle cruise is an old ride, modern audiences aren't gonna be so willing to suspend their disbelief as they were in the 60s and 70s, especially with the more realistic fair that's come up. Stuff like this keeps it entertaining.
I disagree. It's a choice, really, between fear or no fear. I like to experience the fear instead of bad stand up.
I mean...I could add that you were scared probably because you were 3...
Mine was more funny!!
Its almost like all these guys wear clothespins on their noses. They all sound nasaly and weird.
Why is no one laughing?
I've always thought this would be better without the skipper :/
Awesome vid dude! Check mine out too!
He shouldn't make fun of the ride. I wonder if Disneyland managers have seen this? And that is why he does not work there anymore.
TheDcgj45 have you never been on the jungle cruise...it is famous for it's sarcastic humor
I have been on the jungle cruise. But it was years ago when people had brains and common scene. I guess it's missing now.
lol Sorry to disappoint. I left Disney after I graduated and required a higher paying career choice. The humor is all in good pun.. I mean fun. :)
"Common scene"
@TheDcgj45 Wow. You must be a real blast at parties. And by blast I mean, "A Wet Mop thrown full force at someone's face". :p
