My Uncle has had his 66 since 67! It is a base car with nothing more than a 327 4spd manual. Such a pure driving emotion every time I get behind that wheel!
Excellent Job.. As Six Feet Four Inch owner of a 2001 Black C5 Corvette. If I could get inside of this Model Corvette, I would Like to Own one just like this. Great Work!
Hey Steven not sure about the key or the selling price. I know that it was sold. I just made this video for my brother in law from mainmotorco.com. Thanks for watching.
I'm curious about the chassis; original frame? what kind of front control arms, type and year steering-(or rack), and brake calipers? Also where can I get those wheels; size?
1963 to 1967 those were the years. I had a 1963 split window co-op when I was in my early twenties, Didn't really know what I had till it was gone. Lost it in a divorce. What a bummer⚡️⚡️⚡️✌️✌️✌️
I owned a white 67 Corvette convertible from 1968 until 1970. Question for a real Corvette expert. (or anyone's guess). If I had kept the car until today in the original condition it was in when I bought it, would be worth more...or less because it was one of only a few which had zero options? It was a 300HP, 327 with 3-speed manual transmission and no radio. It seems like it would be worth less, but so few were sold with no options, I wonder if that would add any value? It's moot to me since I traded it for an El Camino in 1970......Those days are long past but but I am curious....any thoughts on this? I enjoyed the Corvette a lot in spite of no options.........top down in 1967...no worries................about crime or anything else.......
Very nice car. Did you go with the Blueprint LS3? I am building essentially the same thing. 64 Coupe, SPEC 7 Chassis and an LS3. Differences are I am going with a TKX 5 speed and a Smeding Performance 416 CI LS3.
Thank you Michael! I'm actually not sure of this. This was a video I created for my client, who built this (and many other amazing vehicles). They can be found at mainmotorco.com
The only thing I don't like about that car is that it has an automatic transmission. Other than that it's a beautiful car. I think it would be a lot more fun with a manual.
I’ve got a 64 coup very similar with a built 327 that’s 20 years old and a manual 6 speed. My motor is making a knock so I’m contemplating putting an LS or LT motor in it at this point.

I hope you get to inherit it one day (for all the best reasons)....may your uncle live for ages yet. 🙂
66 The Best Year for Muscle Cars. My favorite Stingray the splite back window. 👍👍
Awesome build .. congrats well planned and like the wheels
Love this restomod. Beautiful classic look with new modern day technology. 😎🤙
Stunning… beautiful restomod!
Too bad it’s an automatic.

I think you would fit in a C2 coup but a C3 is very tight I’m 6’1” and I barely fit in my C3. But my C2 has plenty of headroom.
Well done in good taste! I like the minimum changes in the body and interior. Very drivable and reliable. RS chassis good choice.
Wow that is a bad ass Resto mod ❤❤❤❤❤ really nice built like i ordered it😂😂😂
Отличный автомобиль!! Просто СУПЕР!!
большое тебе спасибо
Beautifull lady and my brother had 54 and 72 sting ray bad as😅
@@kevinthompson2111 thanks Kevin.
I Love C2 Corvette Sting Ray Hard Tops. (smile)
The emblems looked like they were overlooked.
...and just noticing at 1:10 the GM square key ... but you never answered re price ?

I'm not a fan of restomods, I have a bigger appreciation for restoration of the original equipment.
If I wanted 2 but it..what would be the price?

I want
Beautiful car, but ruined with an automatic.
stunning car...too bad its an automatic
I was thinking the SAME thing. I figure that they know that most buyers these days don't even know how to drive a standard.

That car is awesome.
The music is absolutely horrendous.
Hey thanks. This was my first edit in a completely new program, and I was under the gun to get this video finished. I should've done better.

How much do you figure the LS3 will cost I’m contemplating replacing my built 327 with a LS motor. I also already have a manual 6 speed.
I also went with tkx 5 speed
