The newly designed ‘63 Corvette was flashy, muscular and powerful as this futuristic fiberglass sports car was a symbol of post-WWII America that was craving for individual expression. The radical exterior styling of this Corvette generation was very purposeful, with peaked fenders, a long nose, and a short, bobbed tail.
With single ownership for over 35 years, this has benefited from a loving caretaker who kept his Split Window in wonderful original condition. This beautiful Corvette has never been fully restored during its lifetime and remains extremely original with the exception of a repaint in the correct color. A testament to its condition is the fact that it still retains its numbers matching 327/300hp engine certified by CCAS and numbers matching M20 4 speed transmission which is very rare. The trim tag has also been certified by CCAS ensuring this Corvette is offered in its factory colors. Finishing the car’s appearance is a set of knock off wheels with Firestone white line bias ply tires.
In summary, this 1963 Corvette Split Window 327/300hp is a beautiful numbers matching example that comes documented with CCAS cylinder case affirmation, CCAS trim tag certification, registration slips, service receipts and more. This Split Window Corvette is surely a collectible car and would easily be a centerpiece for any Corvette collector or enthusiast.

Still looks fantastic for a 60 year old design, and will still be awesome in another 60 years. They definitely hit a home run when they designed the C2 Corvette. And a stunning white example is hard to beat..

I am 70 y.o. and a retired automotive engineer. My father worked for Chevy Engineering when I was growing up and brought home all the 60's, 70's and up until early 80's Corvettes, SS Chevelles, Camaros and Novas...big and small block, some iconic big block Corvettes and even LS6 Chevelle. That was my childhood, riding in these cars he helped developed at the Tech Center in Warren, MI. The best of upbringings. So fortunate.

I bought my first Vette when I was 19...back in 1979....it was a yellow with black stripe 63 convertible...327 4 speed....loved that car...so much fun to drive
I saw my first Vette as a kid in 1968. It was a white over red C2. It started my love of Corvettes. I am on my seventh Vette, with four of those being white over red. The '63 in this video is my dream car. It is such a beautiful car. Thanks for sharing it with us.
My #1 dream Corvette is a C2 coupe. I don't care what hp or small or big block! It would just be awesome!!!

I own a 68 AMC AMX 343 engine automatic transmission M11 borg Warner automatic transmission. It has 4 wheel drum brake manual.
It stops on a dime I do have wider tires and excellent quality.
A mechanic thought it was disc brakes

They are the best old ( pre 1970) cars and better than some 70s and even some 80s cars to drive . There is nothing better to drive than a nice low mileage un messed up car . If you ever get the chance to drive one , take it. You won’t regret it .

I remember the 63 reveal oh we were out rageous on the change but that changed as my friends received them as gifts and raced thru the streets of boomfield CT. It was better than the jag or Healy.
