Hello from the United States! I have recently (1 year) decided that the Hindu path is the correct path for me. It is such a complex system of beliefs and I want to thank you for doing these podcasts because you speak in a way that I can relate to. Your station has been a boon in my life and for that I have love for you sir! We need these messages in the west. You are doing Gods work sir!
Sanathana Dharma (Hinduism) is very simple yet complicated. The reason is that there is no single path to attain Moksha (Enlightenment). It is simply a way of life. In simple words, Hinduism is like Democracy. You can do anything you want unless you don't hurt anyone. You can even be an atheist and still be called a Hindhu. It's simple but yet complicated :)
As for us who reside in India, I think it's more natural since it's our everyday and yet we r always picking up some new scraps of knowledge through someone and adding to the narrative we have gathered over the years. It certainly will be a much better experience if u would visit the country for such a thing as supposed to being isolated from the culture that will help you understand it better. It's certainly more of something to experience than just reading in theory
@@Sahil-rz4dx Do u mean Lord Rama was hate monger as he killed Ravana and his sena? Lord Krishna a hate monger as he encouraged/ordered Arjuna to kill his relatives?
Hello from USA 🇺🇸 Love these conversations. I have always loved the ancient stories and history of India. There is a of richness that is not known by many. Thank you for these conversations.
As a hindu south african of Indian ancestry this is the best documentary that I have ever seen and I commend the creators of the program as I am a aspirant Hare Krishna devotee and relating events from the Srimad Bhagavatam that you've done is much appreciated. All Glories to my motherland India, aka Bharatavarsa
Said it before and I will say it again, this channel is amazing. I'm English and "White" but I'm drawn to certain parts of the Hindu faith so strongly it's beyond words to express it. When I first learned of the Naga and Aghori Baba's it blew my mind. I began going to Aarti several times a week, doing Puja for Durga and Shiva, reading as many Gita and Purana texts etc. I've learned just as much from this channel than I have from the Brahma Baba who runs the temple I go to. I can't express my gratitude for your work in words.
@@jontyrhodes4155and that 50$ you asked is going to contribute to your family I believe. You have stooped so down that you need such means to earn?.. If you think this method is being sarcastic, over smart or conning then keep it going, you will reach places... which place you decide hahaha
We, the so called “Hindus” are in the same boat as you. We are ignorant about the deeper knowledge of our culture because of the invaders and the forced conversions. Our parents and forefathers tried their hardest to hold on to Sanatan Dharma. But as the Gurukuls and Gurus and temples got wiped out, the knowledge was shallow and Sanskrit also got removed so to understand the Bhagwan Gita, I had to search high and low for an English translated version. (This was 50 years ago!). Now we are so lucky that the Knowledge is made more available, thanks to the Gurus like Swami Chinmayananda and Brabhupada, and many more now. And Thank God for the internet and social media.
@@believ100 100% with you there my Brother. This sanatana dharma is such a beautiful thing & has changed me so much it's crazy. The changes in me have been slow but they are constant, it's like a slow dripping tap, over time that tap will fill the whole sink with water till it overflows & spills everywhere. Jai Maa Durga. Hara hara Mahadev.
I’m always sad when I hear an INDIAN mock this culture. The VEDAS, THE SCRIPTURES, THE HINDU COSMOLOGY IS INDIA’S GEM. I LOVE IT AND I SUPPORT IT COMPLETELY. IM AN AMERICAN BUT I FOLLOW SANATAN DHARMA. I LOVE THE HINDU COSMOLOGY. IT IS SO SUPERIOR IN SO MANY WAYS.
If there is anything real to any of this religious superstition then it's world history and not just one people's history. It's all our history if these things really happened in the world.. believing that it's one cultures history is an illusion..
Yup, these are GEMS, accessable only to the few. The social setup of the country ensures these remain GEMS. You can compare to old age Telephone or Motor cars. Over decades, these concepts were accessable to the majority. The Indian GEMS remain GEMS. By the way I love them too, but only after decades of practising and contemplation, found the clear divide.
Being a 20 year old in Modern India, being able to get answers about my history and my curiosity makes me more intrigued and dig more deep into my roots. Thank you Ranveer for these podcasts 🙏🙏❤️
U have a wonderful name Udit and i hope u become successful in life. Never forget your roots and culture. Because when we don't know where we came from, we won't know where we have to go. Hold tight to SANATAN DHARM and trust me you will find the world at your feet. Jai Shri Ram ❤️
The Hindu interpretation of the beginning of the universe resonates with me . Sound creating light , light creating the elements and out of the elements matter . Matter goes thru different states according to sound ( vibration ) which can modify it . The spirit created matter to experience in it ! They even know about the changes in the elements and its influences over matter ( tattwas ).
I’m a strong believer of sanatana Dharma growing up in south India we never lost touch with our puranas (history) I wish more people across India & world to watch and learn more about Indian culture. Heartfelt thanks to you all 🙏

Extraordinary to hear that the material universe is 1/4 of the whole. Dark matter and dark energy, to current modern scientific knowledge, takes up 75% of the universe. Great episode on a great channel,Ranveer. I'm a big fan of Comparative Religion, and I think of India as "the Other Holy Land". On the use of the term "myth",perhaps this will help. The Greeks used the term mythos as a people's story:where they came from and their heroes and values. Myth as a term denoting falsehood is a modern idea. I prefer Joseph Campbell's definition as truths that can best be conveyed by storytelling. India is utterly absorbing. I've been learning its culture and history for decades, and I could spend lifetimes. I still have so much to learn. Dr. Vaneet is awesome!

But according to Shastras there are three aspects of universe let me explain as you raised this question it is First came Sound or mantra, then it created tantra or system this system created yantra a device this universe as manifestation. So in everything mantra tantra and yantra exist So as per our methodology we used highest one Mantra. It is on that basis we had our devices and many things. Then we created those tantra to formulate yantra or machine like city of Mohanjodaro. It's architecture is not any just a sophisticated sevage system but a whole city was so much precise same is in all ancient cities like ujjain, Varanasi and Vijayanagar etc.. now similarly you can find a wootz steel in India which is very famous in the world but none can make it today as britishers have banned this product to sell their steel. It is the best steel in the world. all else you know mathematics, ayurveda, shalya chikitsa all have indian origin. You should bring Sadhguru on your show, man. So many westerners have seen the truth inherent in hindu teachings and is questioning their own cultural ways of doing things because of him. He also sparked a campaign, "Free TNTemples" which aims to bring the temples (of Tamil nadu, as it is, but the entire country in due time) out of government oversight and into the hands of the devotees themselves. Right now he got his hands full with Conscious Planet initiative as well as many other programs for the betterment of India and indeed entire human species. He'd also be able to cut to the bone of the subject of this upload from a spiritual perspective, both naming why it is as it is, what needs to be done to reversethat developement and what kinds of consequenses it will have if nothing is done to revive the 'mythos' of Santana Dharma.

Wait a minute! I thought just watching Bollywood fully educated me to India’s culture! 😂 … OK, Seriously … great show … thank you! For me India is the Mother Land … however, so many ancient cultures have been infiltrated by off-world non-humans … it is not easy to see what is still valid and what is an insertion to control the people.
Bollywood actually misrepresents hinduism, In the movie 3 idiots they've shown a student worshipping a cow just before the declaration of the results. That student was heard praying ''Oh mother cow, please pass me this time'' . This is just outrageous. No hindu prays to cows. Cows are of course sacred and respected but we don't pray to them to get something. This is just so stupid about bollywood and they do that in most movies. That's also the reason why many indians have stopped watching bollywood.
Haha, but please don't take bollywood seriously, because in India bollywood have really bad reputation for destroying, modifying indian culture for various reasons like, biasness, political etc. So, if you want to know about real indian culture don't take bollywood seriously.

It's sad that we have lost all of these in the countless centuries of invasion and destruction. Bringing back our culture and civilisation now more than ever holds immense value! The Hindu interpretation of the beginning of the universe resonates with me . Sound creating light , light creating the elements and out of the elements matter . Matter goes thru different states according to sound ( vibration ) which can modify it . The spirit created matter to experience in it !

And why do people watch "educational " videos in the first place if they had to read by themselves..atleast give some credible sources from where we can read about what u are talking about...and just a humble question for you
So India has this immense collection of knowledge of science for thousands of years we not a single person from india was able to interpret the vedas and devise scientific knowledge...but then a complete foreigner gets hold of this "knowledge" in a language completely alien to him, translates all the stuff and then interprets all the scientific knowledge their was and makes name of his and his country...and not just him according to most guests on trs most of the western scientists basically devised their theories with only help of Vedas.. right..?

@@parasnagshatty9673 look brother why do you think we didn't had knowledge. but the way western people use is full of materialism. but our way of using vedas was spiritualism to create a way of life that will lead us to mukti from mithya or maya the illusion. But according to Shastras there are three aspects of universe let me explain as you raised this question it is
First came Sound or mantra, then it created tantra or system this system created yantra a device this universe as manifestation.
Now question comes what is your eligibility to know all our knowledge without putting any effort as you want. As krishna said in last chapter of Gita do never tell the secret to the one who is not eligible.
I found this podcast bestest ever....being 20year old, one quest was always there to know the universe beginning...I read bhagvat gita...saw other ancient serials and relates between them...and what I found out is...ancient scriptures are the modern science papers and can only be understood if we are willing to:) thank you ranveer Bhaiiya for this podcast...

Bollywood actually misrepresents hinduism,
In the movie 3 idiots they've shown a student worshipping a cow just before the declaration of the results. That student was heard praying ''Oh mother cow, please pass me this time''
.
This is just outrageous. No hindu prays to cows. Cows are of course sacred and respected but we don't pray to them to get something. This is just so stupid about bollywood and they do that in most movies. That's also the reason why many indians have stopped watching bollywood.

ONE OF THE BEST PODCAST ON THE KILLER COMBO OF HINDUISM AND SCIENCE
His ultimate words: "There's much to learn and question. This is what our beautiful religion teaches."
amazing…. I’m Native American and I connected with some much with what was said in ways I still have a great deal to think about!! I’m so happy I stumbled onto this video
❤
I would suggest you a UA-cam channel called "Praveen Mohan".
Indian living in USA here.
I have always been keen to learn more about Native American theology because it felt so close to Sanatana Dharma in terms of rituals.
Let us know here where one can learn more about Native American spirituality.

Ranveers podcast quality is improving day by day.
Love such podcast.
Please bring him 10 more times, the amount of knowledge he has is humongous... One of the best podcast🙏🙏
Thanks a lot Ranveer for bringing this to light. I am an engineer and a student of science. What I have discovered after learning about our own culture was that our people were very scientific. It's sad that we have lost all of these in the countless centuries of invasion and destruction. Bringing back our culture and civilisation now more than ever holds immense value! Our students should learn about these things vs learning countless texts in our psuedo - western culture oriented history textbooks.
This was the most mind boggling podcast I have ever had. Need more like this one
