I was always told not to store plastic jugs of liquid against the floor. It can leach threw.

That's a great concern, and I've seen a lot of different information about this. My understanding is that concrete only leaches when hot. So if storing in a cool unheated room it's supposed to be fine. We also use concrete sealers in hopes that it will prevent this. So far whenever we've sent our stored water in for testing it's been fine.
