I hope that this will be regular content on Gopher's channel - previous game was IMO one of the best series he ever recorded, so I'm looking forward to this ! It's hard to believe that we have to wait 7 long years for premiere for part II - let's see if it was worth the wait...
He has mentioned he will not play until there is Hardcore Mode, a mod to remove headbobbing, and a mod to enable saving at will. He will also not be streaming it. He will do pre-recorded let’s plays.
@@Ragd0ll1337 I think they said Hardcore mode will be added in the spring, so another 1-3 months for that. There are already a number of mods to let you save on demand in different ways (I'm already using one). No mods for head-bobbing yet but it seems to be less of an issue than in the first game. I haven't gotten a horse yet so can't attest to riding, but just running around there is no obvious head-bobbing, which did make me motion sick with the first game, so it may not be needed here.
This game blows the first one out of the water, don’t get me wrong I adored the first one but my god they have outdone themselves with this gem. GOTY right here!!
No choice I'm afraid. Unless I play without Hardcore Mode. And then it's not really going to the same as my KCD1 play through. It's going to feel very 'casual' in comparison. I could mod it in some ways to try to mimic hardcore mode, but that'd be risky, and when Hardcore mode comes out mid way through the play through I'd be very tempted to just start over. EDIT: Also, another thing to consider is I need to find a break in the timetable. Both current series will be coming to a chapter break in a few weeks time, so I have a few weeks before I can slot in a new series anyway :)

Ive been watching you sincenthe first couple of Skyrim Mod Sanctuaries, thank you so much for all the time you put into your videos and stories. Its so nice to escape the daily crap show of politics and everyone hating each other, to get lost into your stories. You have no idea how many of us appreciate you!
Hi, ophthalmologist here. To clarify DoF settings and comparison to human physiology: DoF=2u²Nc/f² (u=distance to object, N=aperture No, c=cercle of dispersion, f=focal length) Our eyes see only sharp in a very tiny spot of our retina, the macula lutea. Everything we focus on will be projected on this area. Everything else falls on the rest of our retina and is called peripheral vision. Since the density of light-receptor cells decreases to the periphery this part of the picture will be seen much lesser clearly and without the common color reception. A camera works more or less similar be it with a more sophisticated multi lens system, but also bound to and forced by the formula. The difference is: watching a picture taken with a telephoto lens normally has a clear center and blurred surroundings (used e.g. for portrait photography), same in a computer game with artificial (or simulated) dov. But we are able to watch the blurred area of these pictures with the central part of our retina which is able to see clearly. This would never happen in our eyes, since we are not capable of watching our peripheral vision with our central vision. It would be like jumping over our own shadow. Hence the fake or not-so-real feeling using DoF. Just a matter of taste and beautifully looking on screenshots (=camera!), but not so well during gameplay. If you are myopic you understand how it is to run through nature without glasses….😉

Belladonna is dead easy to find in KC:D if you know what to look for. Three plants grow at the millers by Rattay & respawn every couple of days. I usually end up with more than I can use just by always picking when I see it. My first playthrough though I did have trouble finding it.
That stuff with the edges of the inventory screen could likely be fixed by adjusting the aspect ratio. I have an ultra wide monitor running 3440x1440 and it shows up perfectly. I didn't even know that it would do that until I watched your stream here. Also, this may sound weird, but with a 4090 you may want to try playing on ultra with DLSS turned off. To me it looked better and still ran at close to 120 fps. PS : There's already a mod that removes the player map marker also ;)
An LP after some mods and/or patches get released, I believe? But yeah, it'll be on the main channel. I never played the original, but this should be a perfect Gopher game, so another great LP.
Game does look good so far however I cant help but feel it needed longer. There are a number of voice lines that sounded like they needed a second take and no HC on launch is just dumb. Also no save transfer for decisions you made in the first game, sure we cant keep the armor but did everything we did really not matter? Hope other problems dont start rearing their head later into the game.
Stop with the motion blur hate :/ per object blur is awesome, you are wrong wave your hands in front of your face your fingers will be a blurry mess, your eyes do in fact blur moving object
Not for me. It only blurs if I stop focusing on my hand and wave it about whilst looking at something else. But that's happens with objects on screen even with object motion blur turned off. Things away from my focus blur naturally, so there is no need for object blur UNLESS you're trying to mimic camera footage. And that's why I don't like it. I like to feel like I am there, NOT looking at it through a camera.
@juliet4093 with the hand waving in front of your face which you describe as blur it isnt actually blur although it makes sense why people would describe it as such . i think its the ol brain making up what is in your middle blind spot which is what gives the affect of the finger you can see through and obviously going through that at pace would give the affect some people would call blur . i however have terrible eyesight and everything is a lovely blur at a certain distance lol
Object blur sucks, deal with it. If you love it so much, YOU play with it on. Make sure to stream it, so you can have your own group of obnoxious whiners posting about dis-liking it.
So, in those platform wars. I actually prefer Tw. but I'm on YT. more often just watching videos; so I'm more likely to see when a stream is coming up or is live here. But I still use the other platform to actually watch it and such. I think the conspicuous thing with the ring, could be best explained by saying, the ring draws peoples eyes to it, and they don't pay quite as much attention to the face behind it right away? Maybe... I don't know.
