Truly ending 2024 in a next level way, thanks for watching, enjoying and supporting in any additional way. We will continue grinding and yapping about Record of Ragnarök in 2025
Ngl, if you watch only the anime, I get that. For a while, it really is just fight starts, flashback, dramatic moment, winner, small bit of downtime and repeat. But as things stand right now, yeah, there are definitely some interesting plot developments to keep you invested in the story.
My theory is that he's not a traitor but when he was working for Odin as a doctor he destroyed the bifrost that ticked on and off. Then he sent him to tartaro's
I think this is the he best explanation. It'll also explain how the hell he got there in the first place 😂 I also saw a theory that, he's just such a wild card that both sides are willing to use him.
This chapter is hype af But i wonder, why does Izanagi or the other surviving primordial gods not speak up about Odin's backstory? Is it because now he's a supreme god so they just thought he changed? Also, i dont think Nostradamus is gonna betray humanity. He always strikes me as the "shady but trustworthy" kind of guy, which definitely fits his joker status very well
Odin and his friends didn't want to destroy the primordial gods but the normal gods they created because they found them incomplete. Izanagi and the other 76 primordial gods stepped in to protect these gods.
Tbh, while I initially disliked having the lore drop chapters that didn't have anything to do with the fighters or the fights thrmselves, this latest chapter told me to quite clearly put many of my stocks into Odin bring one of the craziest characters in the series and other seemingly insignificant characters like Izanagi (who I initially thought was a throwaway God for Susanoo to have backing him in the audience). There's still so much we don't know about the future of RoR, and I can't wait for the next chapter to see my boi Simo (I'm huffing the hopium that he may win the fight but I know deep down that it's almost immediately going to be a loss or a draw at most).
Maybe Siegfried has a connection with The sword Gram , since he stole it , Odin might need him alive to use the sword and revive back his original body or power i dont know , this could be a reason why Odin hired Nostradamus.
In my opinion.. the 4 Primordial pillar's vessels have got to be from the same mythology.. hat said.. Satan's vessel - Beelzebub Odin's vessel - Odin LOL Chaos's vessel - Unknown Ymir's vessel - either Loki, Siegfried, or Nostradamus
Odin clearly wanted his two sons to be Ymir and Kaos’ vessels, Ymir for Thor (since Thor is both a primordial and a giant) and Kaos for Loki. Loki literally has the same holes in his palms as Kaos does AND chains coming out of his hands. I’m pretty sure if Ymir and Kaos have already manifested though, Ymir is inside Cú, and Kaos is inside Loki or Nostradamus. Nostradamus is humanity’s joker, and the joker is known as a symbol of chaos.
Welp guess its rip for simo, loki aint losing round 11 which means it’ll be rasputin vs anubis in round 12 and nostradmus being dubbed as the traitor instead of sakata kintoki makes more sense makes it more of a chance to see nostradamus vs seigfried while we could get odin vs sakata kintoki
This is who I think Odin plans to have as vessles for the other primordials and Odin himself since he might change vessels Odin- Siegfried Ymir-Loki or Thor Chaos- Zeus or Nostradamus Satan- Beelzebub And for the 10 that joined the Yggidrasil, I think the fallen fighters will be vessles for them
I once assumed that Odin was going to end up becoming the main antagonist of Record of Ragnarok, it looks like my assumption is correct? (I don’t mean to sound arrogant). So Michael Nostradamus is able to get into Tartarus because he has permission - and Odin asked him to be Siegfried’s doctor. That makes sense, and it explains how he was able to get into Tartarus while Sakata Kintoki could not (This might not be important but it explains why the box/tub that he was pulling said medicine on it). However I do believe that he wasn’t supposed to bring Goll so that’s probably why he had her trapped inside - in order to sneak her into Siegfried’s cell. I’m also assuming that Siegfried is telling Goll all of this so that she can tell Brunhilde about Odin’s plan the next time she sees her. Either way thanks for the update, I hope you had a good Christmas dude👍🏻 PS - Izanagi is the GOAT
Now i have questions 1. Which primordials sided with who cause Beelzebub mentioned that he read a book Odin wrote about bringing back (Arkhé) (if i remember right) 2. Why does Odin need to go through Ragnarok for his plan when stuff like the Outer gods and Armageddon are around, what is the main purpose of Ragnarok 3. Why did "Odin" make Nostradamous, Siegfried's doctor: whats the point 4. If the 11 primordials are sealed (if all 11) where are they sealed 5. Whats Izanagi hiding and who were the 5 other survivors 6. Like most manga and stories, what other secrets have we not been told yet
@mysteriousweeb, what if Chaos' vessel is Hermes all along?? Hermes to this day is one of the most intelligent and mysterious characters in the verse.. he quite literary finds most of these "chaotic" fights amusing.. there have been many indications that hes a top tier god.. including aura manifestations, statements hes made and the line from apocalypse that states that only a select few top tier gods were able to see what happened between Cu vs Ra.. Hermes was within those.. He's also been awfully sus, been caught speaking with brunhilde randomly.. even took sides with Adamas during his rebellion for the mere fun of it... Chaos vessel vibes anyone?? @mysteriousweeb, what do you think??
I wonder if the primordial gods do come into play, given who is left. The fighters from the previous rounds would likely get involved along with the pantheons. If Oden wins, everyone loses.
i personally think Nostradamus is a traitor, but not "i will join the gods against humanity" type traitor; more a traitor towards valkyries, or some of them
I’m pretty sure round 14 is gonna be Alexander the Great vs Odin and I’m so hyped that Alexander is gonna be the big mythical demigod hero too stop Odin I hope this happens so much
I still will say if any Human fighter deserves to win the most based on real life accomplishments, it's the White Death. Highest confirmed kill counts, took on platoons by himself with a iron sight, because he didn't want the sun to reflect off a scope. All of this in a fucking blizzard. I know RoR gives alot of supernatural accomplishments and abilities to it's human fighters, but Simo is by far the most proven in his abilities. Sadly looks like he is gonna prolly lose, I knew after Okita won, whoever was gonna fight next would lose.
I believe Sigurd will be the last fighter of the Gods... Like to protect Odin's plans or whatever. He will force Brunhilde to Volund with him and Goll will merge with Sakata Kintoki to fight
I think it’s probably Taboo or something to do with the sealing of them. If you told the true story individuals would go looking for the artifacts to take down the likes of Zeus and them especially those outer gods who hate them.
lol some weird reason I feel Loki is gonna trick Simo by transforming into his dog or making Simo think the dog is Loki idk 😂 can’t wait to see how that fight plays out
Why everyone in media confuse satan as mighty demon lord while in actual lore he is literally a prisoner as well as the other inhabitants of hell, he doesnt have any powers beyond that god allowed him to have.

4:13 May be a hot take but I actually prefer the anime’s black hair for Odin more than the white hair of the manga but that’s just me
HMM, I THINK I AGREE
For me, I think black hair would be fitting for him when he was younger, and the older version of him with the white hair.
@@Meldrick-jv7sy fair enough, I do like the white hair but I suppose I got used to the black lol
