I absolutely love the thought process of making an instrument that is so true to its vintage characteristics, well built, yet remains affordable. Great work, there, Justin, and kudos to Fender for actually making it happen.
I just saw BECK play in Concord. I've been a professional studio/touring musician for 46 years. I nominate Justin as the BEST POP BASSIST in the WORLD!!!! I've seen him with NIN and BECK several times. I just wish to hell I had a bassist where I live as good as he is. KUDOS, JUSTIN!
@@McDoinky Thanks good to know I'll try chromes at some point. I bought this Bass in 2020 had to get four of them before I didn't get a lemon🤪 can you believe it? Extremely dry neck with frets overhanging - one had an electronics issue, they all sounded different, and all the necks/frets felt different.. oh and one I couldn't put any more relief into it The truss rod was Maxed out... They all shipped from different music stores around the country. All things considered I still love it but it took a village to get the right one. Thanks again

@@tootory9506 Late response I know but they sell them with Fender flatwounds. Justin uses daddario chromes

It's an interview, not a demo... plenty of demos out there
I'd love this bass if it weren't aged/fake worn.
I can't believe JMJ left out Danny Bonaduce as one of his idols!😂
Spends the whole video talking it up and then we don't even get to hear it?! :/
Maybe there's enough video on that alone? Don't end your research here
"interview"
10-minutes and he never plays it. LOL So it is in interview, I get that, but so what, play a few notes on the the f&^%$&* thing while talking. LOL
