cant wait for KTM to release their new 1300cc factory turbocharged hayabusa spinoff
990 is fun but we need the 1390
Ohhh, that would be sooooper Duper Cool...😍😍😍😍
@@abymathew295 you bet
Brother 1390 is mainly street with torque and speed meanwhile 990 is for acc and speed two different engine it's just black men with Asian women hope you get rc 1390 is future

You couldn’t ride either to their limits tho lol
Wow Yammie got his hair back and we get a KTM supersport. Maybe life is getting better
Nice preview and analysis. Thanks dude.
I would pay an outrageous amount for a street version back screw the ktm guys that said too danger for sports
What??? What are you saying? There is a road version of this. This is it.
Good news!
Looks like the tail section guy used a lot of vacation day's during the build
Just back from the track yesterday, first run with 1290. Nice turns, awesome brakes, need to learn to distinguish rpm better for upshifting downshifting into the corners without looking at display, much harder comparing to screaming inline 4 where you can say what rpm it is by heading to few 100s
I been seeing these guys more often lately in my area this riding season
can you make a video on turns? specifically right turns? my husband and i are barely learning and thats what he's struggling with the most. you're videos have been sooo amazing and helpful
Right turns subcounciously are a problem for many people, myself included. I was making a right-handed U-turn needing 5 parking space widths. My instructor now has me doing it in two.
It is truly identical to the left, Id suggest getting more comfortable with slow speed manuevers, making sure to counter balance, the rear brake gives great stability, and LOOK where you want the bike to go..
Then, it's just practice, practice, and practice.
Don't drop it and take it slow.
I know text isn't enlightening.
That is a slick wrap!
Its prototype camouflage 🤦🏻♂️
@@X11CHASEit’s a slick prototype camouflage wrap
Passed my MSF course today bouta go buy a busa and put a turbo on it
I'm on a permit and I'm doing a DIY twin turbo gsxr. Got a sweet deal off marketplace.
I mean that's not your first street bike right?
@@seanc6754 I was joking.
my name is number one with my local KTM dealer. super amped on this. think the numbers will be slightly conservative on paper because euro 5+. akra and flash will let her make more noise i would wager. cant wait.
Idk what happened to super sports but we somehow have either „super sports“ that dont even make 100Hp or we have those who make +180hp.
The R9 would be more powerful then the R6 but has the same Hp and we finally have something in the middle weight
Looks cool though
Yammie please review the 2000cc David Putra
When did yammie get hair ?
Transplant
Looks absurd
Sky Spurling... 🦱.
OMG NO WAY !!! Lets gooooo woohoo ❤❤❤
130 horse? Going to pay full super bike insurance rates, and roll the dice on KTM's QC record. Hard to pass up an R1 for it unless it is feather light, and/or maybe the ergos are a lot more street friendly.
What's the HP limit for "not superbike" insurance rates, then?
May as well get a Street Triple RS.
@@Drunken_Hamsteridk bro, when I started off it was £1200 per year and only 3 insurers in the country would even entertain it for a k1 gixxer thaw. Second year without getting a Darwin award was £400. That's a rounding error.
@@Drunken_Hamster Well here in the states it is done by cc's and motorcycle type (sport, dual-purpose, etc), not by horsepower.
Its a middleweight class bike
i'm still trying to get used to the hair LOL - great overview and discussion on the next gen of superbikes
All the 1290 Superdukes did have Traction control and abs.
They newer made one without.
(Well the old 990 Superdukes didn't but those pre date modern superbikes and no bike had tc or abs back then)
The single cylinder Kramer is the HKR Evo 2 (R)
The twin is HKR GP 2R and now there is an RR model from that, that surpasses the KTM RC8C variants.
Better suspension, better electronics and more power.
More competition is always good
Ktm obviusly want to predict the R9 anyway i also suggest to watch out for the Corsaro750Sport of moto morini. A V2 engine 750cc that look pretty good
I really think that once you touch it inappropriately - factory Akra, cat delete, flash or dyno, and some other farkles- it’ll be a lot more bike than people are thinking. KTM may be underestimating the output anyway.
This would be good time to introduce the yzf-r9👀
I am waiting for the two bigger CF Motos 500SR 675SR, and to see if they launch that 1000cc
might be cool. We'll see what the price is.
It would be dope if it came in that color scheme. Reading through the comments so fat cfmoto didn't make this engine but then again when did KTM make the most reliable engine. And they do make a naked it's called the Duke.
yes, only 790 Duke based 800cc Twin i.e. NK800 is made by CF Moto in China ... & 390 Duke in India.
not 890 & 990 Dukes or 1390 SDR that are made in Austria's Factory...!
I’m just waiting for the R9 so I can trade my R7 in for one
Even better news: used bike prices tank because everyone needs a down-payment!
Dude it’s Jereth. Say it right.
Think I'd still wait for the R9, Im a bit of a KTM snob tho 😂
I thought homologated meant it’s for racing. Do I have it backwards?
Manufacturers homologize street machines so they can race factory machines.
Oh. So a homologated bike is a street legal race bike?
@@andrewmiranda5115 no, not exactly. they basically have to make a “production” model that they base the racing machine off of. same deal with the ferrari GTO - gran turismo OMOLOGATO - homologized for street use. it won’t have every fancy farkle that a race bike has. but you’ll probably be able to get close.
Oh I see what you mean.
The RC8C didn’t come out 15 years ago
Their last homologated street machine did, though.
Where is the cap? Who is this ?
Seems the RC8, 1190 was better 😅
Fuel tank under a seat would deter me from a bike quick.
Remember when WW2 boats used that design to make it difficult to judge distance so that the enemies couldn't range them? Yeah not too smart putting it on a bike.
It's used on prototypes all the time to confuse cameras and hide design details from snoopy industry reporters. We see this sort of thing all the time in southeast Michigan on prototype vehicles by Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors.
We need a v4 ktm bike
Just out of curiosity, has CFMoto been building quality engines long enough to justify the purchase?
The engines are ok, it‘s the electronics and wiring that‘s still Chinese. Wait a couple years.
CF Moto doesn’t make this engine..so why bring them up?
@@phatnum17 I thought CFMoto was contracted to make all their motors. That's why.
@@thedragon1322 false. CF Moto only makes the 790 engine, Duke 790 and 790 adventure bikes. Outgoing 890 engine and 990 engine is Austrian built.
@phatnum17 ahhhh ok. With all the changes, I didn't know what was being made in China vs still in Austria. That was the reason for my question.
Yammie clearly did not research any info on this bike... It truly has little similar to the Duke 990 minus the engine.
I only kinda care because I wanna know about the 990 Duke R
I think the entire 990 move is meh. It isn't middleweight anymore, and it's not high CC enough (being that it's a twin) to be truly impressive in the top end like the superduke is. IMO, they should've stuck with the 890/1290 combo, and in this case, released a version with each powerplant as an option. Would love to have the 125hp "scalpel" motor in an equally lightweight supersport.
It'd bring back the days of the 954 Fireblade. The torque of a 1000, power of a 750, and weight of a 600 is the perfect combo, IMO. Then you'd have the 1290 superbike on the side for the chuds with more money than sense.
Beautifully spoken. 954 was the "Tip of the Sword"🗡️
A Ninja in a room full of Sumo.
I immediately check out when false comments are made. right off the bat, he says the super duke has no traction control!!!!!! The Duke 390 has traction Control (for Some Reason) and as expected all the bigger Super dukes come loaded with Electronics included traction Control ABS and KTM's super cool "Supermoto ABS" Come on Bro Get it together
Is it street legal:0?
It will be. Probably not the track version.
"103Nm at 10,500rpm with 128ps" just doesn't make sense, it should be around 145ps.
First comment and like!!!!!!!!!
R9 or bust
make a street version
It is..
@@phatnum17 no like a more comfortable street version with less agressive riding
@@makrsu7619 that would be the 990 Duke..
@@phatnum17 no i mean with the fairings
Pay attention my dude
Its not at all based on the duke 990. Should watch the about the bike on ktms channal.
I'll stick with my 1st gen '19 790 duke. . . looks aint everything.
Parallel twin is kinda boring. And the lack of reliability also turns me off. The middleweight sportbike class has so much better to offer
I miss my duke 890 R 🙁 scumbags stole it and chopped it up
Insurance to the rescue!!!!
UK..🤔
I feel ya. I lost my bike that I use to go to work and I have no car. I wished the worst for the thieves
Still a twin, still not a fast-o
Tell that to the Buell 1125R
@@L4ND.SH4RK don’t change the topic, it is about ktm rc not buell
cant ride on road lol
Well it doesn’t exist yet. But yeah it’ll be road legal.
@@jvbphotos oh my bad ....
Wonder how ugly they can make the headlight
Wow no pillion support? HARD pass

Looks like a catfish on front
soon this bike will be "too powerfull" for motogp with their new restrictions lmao
🤤🤤🤤🤤
Hahahahaha 16k estimate, hahahah clearly yammie isn't drug tested. I think they might technically have a 16,999 USD version.... Minus tires ( so owners can choose) , no electric features ( 1000+) freight (1200+) .... So dealer floor at 20k
😂😂😂
R9? We the people NEED an XSR1!
Painting wtf..🤦
You might find yourself attacked by lions if you ride it in Africa.
Chapri jaw drop
Lol imagine naming your channel after something that's trash now. Idk why people mention comparing the MT or any Yamaha to anything else. The r1 is the only thing comparable anymore. The r9 won't be anywhere on the level of the 990
It looks stupid
